It was a very long day, Michael's crew worked like a well oiled machine. The team was very profesional and polite. I was very impressed with how they wrapped my things. The team leader, John also took it upon himself to reorganize all of my furniture. i could not have asked for a better move. Thanks to the team at MICHAELS!!!!! 5 big stars!

We recently used Michael's to move us to New york, We wanted to let everyone know what a great job the sales and moving team had donefor us. This was not an easy move by any means, however Michael made it as stressless as possible. The quote was accurate, because i did ask alot of questions as well. thank you

Unfortunately, this has been the worst moving experience in my 8 year history in Boston. I have used Gentle Giant in my previous 2 moves and would recommend them if you can shed the extra change. I didn't use them this time because they were completely booked. I have never had so much furniture damaged in a move. The furniture was damaged besides the extra costs charged for tape and blankets they used to wrap them for supposed protection. My wooden tables all have deep scratches. My bookcases are all scuffed and one had a broken shelf. Additionally, they misplaced screws for items they dismantled, and I now need to contact the manufacturer to order more parts to put the pieces back together. They took apart my bed and misplaced the sheets and bed skirt. The foreman, Gabriel, says, "I think I threw it somewhere in a box". The movers were not only unprofessional and rude, but they were very careless. They nearly knocked down several paintings off the wall while maneuvering up the stairs. The boxes and furniture bumped the ceiling and walls several times during the 3+ hour move. I am fortunately not attached to my belongings and plan on chucking them in a few years. What's the most disappointing is the fact that I have to be inconvenienced to get my pieces back to living standards. All of that after paying for the move to be done by a moving company who's motto is, "Gentle. Reliable. Strong". I wish I had an experience like the other reviewers on the site.

My estimate was very accurate, the salesperson was polite and helpful and explained all the charges for your move and the movers were timely, professional and efficient. I am now living in Boston.

I hired Michael's to transition into my new Cambridge home. I was really pleased and I really do recommend these guys. As a collector (and shopaholic:) I have tons of very fragile things and also things with a lot of both sentimental and monetary value....the movers did an excellent job with my things. My estimate was very accurate and the salesperson was so nice and polite...he explained all the charges for the move and was so patient with all of my questions and concerns. Further, the movers were totally professional and everything went smoothly and *quickly*. I hope I won't be relocating anytime soon, but if I do, I'm calling Michael's...they make what is usually a very stressful experience quite pleasant.

I used michael's for an interstate move. If you can handle the wait time, they do a great job. Let me explain. They picked up my 1 bdrm apartment on 12/21/08. It is now 1/30/08 and I am just getting my belongings. THAT IS REDICULOUS. They promised the move to be completed in 14 days. Then the guys picking up my package say it may be as long as 21 days. Much different that what was quoted before. Heres how it works. Unless you can fill a FULL 18 wheeler, your things sit in a warehouse until they have enough to fill a truck. Then, your stuff is dropped off as the truck travels from stop to stop. They did a great job packing and handling my things, but it took twice as long as guaranteed. And by the way, they only have 3 trucks. It could be a long time before you see any of your things. The things they control, quality and care of your things: Great but unless you are the first stop and the truck is pretty much ready to go, you could be waiting.... not weeks... but months.

We contacted Michael's over 1 month ago, my mother was moving to California and my fiance and i were moving across town. Michael personaly came to my mothers house to give her a quote. he spent well over an hour with her and said they could pack and unpack her whole house. He then came to my house and gave me a quote to move to another city. Both moves were done amazingly well, stress free and most professional. My mother had lived in her home for over 25 years so you can imagine the amount of stuff accumulated. I cannot say enough good things about Michael and his staff. Thank you guys!!

We just completed our week long process of relocating. We had Michael's pack us over 2 days and then delivered our furniture to Wisconsin. With all the horror stories weve heard about movers, Michael's set and kept our minds at ease throughout this process. From the first phone call we made, to our last thing unloaded from the truck we were treated with excellent service. I highly reccomend this company to anyone who wants a great moving experience. Thank you Michael's staff and crew

Thank you Michael!!!! Romeo and his crew were STUPENDOUS they made this move seem simple, stressless, and very easy. They loaded and unloaded 2 trucks in one of the coldest days in Boston. Your men are the most professional i have seen, this is our 3rd move (2nd) in town move and i am sorry that we did not find you earlier.You have a customer and a spokesperson for life. Thank you Joy
