I have been a loyal customer the past two years and return again because of Galina (the best of the best). She is friendly, professional and has a great wealth of knowledge of what is best for you. As an eye doctor, she is a credit to her profession. In customer service, she ranks an A+. I travel over an hour for this service and am pleased with the final product as well.

I'm so thankful to VIZIO OPTIC - worked with both Phyllis and Dr. Rabkin. Before getting a new pair of glasses, they checked my old glasses and noticed that the PD (pupillary distance) on my old glasses was totally off... which makes sense as I was having headaches and eye strain. They spent a great deal of time with me and I found the perfect pair of cute and very comfortable glasses.. and I just went back to them to get sunglasses. They want to make sure you look great in your glasses and what a selection! Plus, they have the latest lenses. I recommend VIZIO to all my friends and family.

I shopped at Vizio Optic since beginning of 2006 and it is not only a great eyeglass store, it is a great shopping experience in all of Boston, period! I really would like to provide feedback on the last two customer comments that I read and was truly surprised to see. These two customers seemed to have a bad experience with one of the people who work at Vizio Optic. I was sad to see that because I have been a loyal customer and know the owner who happens to be an amazing person who is really nice and helpful. Now there are five or six people who work on various different days at Vizio and it was a mistake (in my opinion) for these two customers to think that the store is a bad shopping experience just because of one spoiled apple. Every store every once in a while has bad employees but such people come and go and they don't represent everyone else whom you curtly judge just by this one experience with an employee who may have just been temporary in the first place. Again, I was sad to read these two reviews because it is completely the opposite of what I know about Vizio and I hope those two customers consider calling the owner and telling the owner who it was that upset them because I know this wouldn't happen if she was there helping them.

A great selection of frames but one salesperson is extremely rude and rude to her colleagues. This store could be very successful if this person improved on customer service.

a sharp selection of frames, but the most unpleasant of staff. small businesses should really think twice about attitude; these folks will not get my money.

Researching optomotrists in the Boston area from the UK prior to a 2 week holiday, I found Vizio Optic and never looked back. The exchange rate is very good for us in the UK right now and prescription eyewear of the style I was after is expensive over here. I thought I knew what I wanted until I contacted Phyllis by e-mail and the service and attention to detail that I recieved back from her was first class. I wanted RX sports sunglasses that enhance light in dull conditions predominantly for golf as I can not get away with contact lenses. I thought that the Oakley half jacket was the one for me and had I not discovered the 'Vizio Optic customer experience' then that is exactly what I would have ended up with. Instead, Phyllis and her team went to work and provided me with several other options and I finally decided on the fantastic 'Drivewear' lens in a metal wraparound frame. We collected them on our arrival in Boston and I could not believe how comfortable they were for my eyes as well as how good they are in all light conditions. After touring NE we went back to stay in Boston and took the opportunity to re-visit the superb shop in Brookline where I asked Phyllis to help pick out a pair of sunglasses for my wife and insert the 'Drivewear' lens. She did her 5 * customer thing and was able to get the lenses done and turned around for us before our plane home. The genuine concern to ensure that you recieve the best option(s) coupled to the 5* service and attention to detail, not to mention the follow up has ensured that our retail experience with Phyllis and Vizio Optic was a joy, so much so that I am doing something here that I have never done before - a review - that may just help someone else make the right choice and try this store.

Vizio was able to do an almost impossible repair to my Dolce & Gabanna glasses that I purchased in Forest Hills Queens, NY, many years ago. My uber-fab D&G’s are like new again! Great customer service! I cannot believe the negative review I just read. I don't know what went wrong for that person, but I couldn't disagree more strongly with their comment. I went to Vizio on the recommendation of someone else who loved the store and the people working there, and my experience exceeded my expectations. Don't buy glasses anywhere else.

I had an extremely negative experience at this store. They may have a nice selection of eyeglasses but the attitude is not worth it. Nothing can replace good customer service.

As anyone living in Boston knows, good cutomer service is difficult to find. Couple that with an endless offering of mediocre eyewear retailers and searching for glasses is not a pleasant experience. I stumbled upon Vizio through an internet search and from the moment I walked in knew I'd found the real deal. Excellent service and knowledgeable, honest staff, individualized attention, the best frame selection in Boston, cool, upbeat atmosphere, and a determination to resolve whatever problem you present. Dr. Rabkin, optometrist and co-owner, gets my vote as best optometrist in the area. She is hands on and believes in what she does. I'm sold and won't waste my time elsewhere. And by the way, I wasn't asked to write a review (see above).
