Not What I Had Expected. I read reviews and decided to stay at this hotel as opposed to others in the city. The hotel is terribly overpriced and there are other hotels with better prices around the same location. Take a look and check into all options before making a decision.

Nice hotel, excellent location. Posted on Tripadvisor May 24th 2010 by user - smk007 The hotel is superbly located, close to the Public Garden and convenient for Newbury St and the T. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, the doormen usually ignored me.

The room, a deluxe king, was comfortable but a bit smaller than I have seen in equivalent grade rooms in other hotels. The shower room was quite small with only one vanity unit and no bath (pictures attached). There was little counter space available and this was rather inconvenient with two people in the room.

Bottled water was supplied every day and the Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. The safe was too shallow to accommodate a standard laptop. Internet access was free in the room.

Overall, a decent comfortable hotel in a good location, although I was slightly disappointed in some details.

Superior Service and Excellent Location.. My 2nd time staying here and am so glad I found this gem of a hotel in the Back Bay area. I proposed over a romantic dinner in the Deluxe Corner Suite. The staff had set up the room perfectly and created a beautiful ambiance (rose petals, soft music and lights...). The meal was fantastic. It was a most memorable stay.

At the Cuffs bar, a bartender served us the perfect iced coffee drink! Everyone was so polite and helpful and I will definitely return!

One of the nicest hotels in the city. Stayed for a girls weekend. Room was clean spacious and updated (as it should be being a new hotel). The bathroom was gorgeous, full of marble, plush bathrobes and Aveda products. The lobby bar was hopping and the atmosphere made you forget you were in Boston! The rate was reasonable too!

Ireland's largest hotel group stylishly sets up shop in the former Boston Police headquarters.. In Short
The Dublin-based Jurys Doyle Hotel Group chose a high-profile Back Bay spot for its first area hotel. Featured throughout the 220 stylish rooms are pieces of contemporary Irish art and top-notch amenities. Upon entering the hotel, visitors are greeted by a yawning water feature and a two-story working fireplace. Despite the plethora of excellent dining options nearby, guests need only head downstairs to the in-house restaurant (Stanhope Grille), bar (Cuffs) or coffee bar (Il Barista).

Quite nice. Terrific hotel with swank lobby and bar, comfortable rooms and nice marble bathrooms complete with towel warmers and Aveda products. The service was impeccable. Great area. We stayed for business and would stay again for business or pleasure.

Service, food, art is the best. Agree with all that's been said; my sister and I stayed there and we felt pampered. The service was outstanding... five stars, as outstanding as the food at Stanhope Grille (the Irish breakfast is fantastic) and Cuffs (pulled pork was very tasty, as tasty as a pint of Guinness). Don't miss the police memorabilia and the modern Irish art... a plus for this cool new hotel right in the Back Bay. I'm telling my friends interested in design and art to stop by and browse!

Right Place - Right Price. It was just an overnight, but so worth it. When we realized we were staying in a standard room both of us were surprised. CD Player, terry cloth bathrobes, a portable shaving mirror with great magnification, a sunday paper (Globe) and oversized pillows - standard? I am not arguing.

The architectural detials could not go unnoticed. Nor the friendly staff. We are looking forward to staying there next time we are in town.

Great Place!. Myself and some friends stayed at the Jurys Hotel while in town for a company outing. Everything from the staff to amenities were great. The bar and outside patio had a great atmosphere. I would certainly stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it others.
