HELP, HELP, and the staff at NOELLE's SALON, came to my rescue. I didn't want to go out of the house and (I will not say the name of theSalon did this to me) but let's just say, I feel like a new person. You can trust this salon, and you can choose between many different stylists to fine tune your particular needs.
Please, if you have been in this situation, or just want to look great, go to Noelle's Salon - they work miracles.
- Pros: Experience and Compassion go a long way!
- Cons: NONE
DO NOT DO IT
by Nikki123 at Citysearch
The staff will do anything to get you in the door. They are extremely unethical in the way they do "business". Lots of charges. Do not give them your credit card number of the phone. YOU WILL BE CHARGED $200 THAT DAY. Even if you cancel with more than a weeks notice they will not refund your money. DO NOT DO IT!
- Pros: ZERO
- Cons: EVERYTHING
The Best Hair Extensions Anywhere!
by diva5688 at Citysearch
My hair stylist just started to offer hair extensions, so I got them. They all came out in one week..apparently it takes much more experience to do extensions right. I went to Noelle’s Salon, they explained why they came out so quickly. Noelle gave me a great deal and I got my long hair back! My extensions have been in for 4months and they look as good as they did the first day I got them. I’m 21yrs old and all my friends go there now. I suggest you do too!!
I thought long and hard before writing this expose

I thought long and hard before writing this expose
seriously.
I do not like to say bad things.
However, after a few years of deliberation - it dawned on me
if I DON'T say something - someone else out there could really be hurt or such
First let me say - Noelle IS a talented hair stylist and businessperson - so it is evident to see how her business grew. Some of her staff - great.
However, the employees laughing behind the clients backs? Not really cool ... still - I get how hard work can be in a demanding customer environment - so I cut them some slack.
NOW: bad things:
I have fine hair - I wanted to thicken it up with some short extensions - just for thickness. I was coerced into long hair ... frankly emotionally blackmailed with comments about not knowing what I look good in myself. Ok ok - I'm to blame for listening. HOWEVER ... sounded a professional know that heavy long hair on a fine head of hair will pull it out? After my extensions were fully removed (I gave it several rounds of refills) - I was balding ... in fact I had to pay over $1000 for a wig at a medical hair facility in Newton to help me ...
THEN: Noelle's sister did permanent makeup on me. OMG She told me she had been doing it for years. I found out I was actually one of her first clients. I told her to be light touched. She was so heavy handed and kept adding more and more to even it up before she'd let me see ... she knew immediately there was a problem. Noelle was brought in and I heard them argue in the hall ... (on Noelle's behalf - you could tell she WAS really ticked off at her sister) ... I was told it would fade ... well That was nearly 3-4 years ago. I still look like a racoon ... and you know why? Turns out she ALSO put the lower eyeliner too low ... after enduring years now of being looked at and poked fun of by people ... being told by employers that my look was "too severe" for others ... I have saved up to spend nearly $2000 to have it removed in a hospital - because I was told it was too chancey to do under the eye with other methods.
PLEASE - and again, I really thought long and hard about this before writing - I am only writing because I do not wish ANYONE to have to endure the embarassment, pain, shame and loss of work I have experienced. I am not litigous - I have no intention of sueing - however, just for the readers knowledge? 2 lawyers came up to me at different functions - and told me they would GLADLY take her to court and win. 1 because he said it would be open and shut for lying about her experience. The other because she said that woman should be shut down before someone gets hurt.
Note: I am not even going to get into the issues about their attitude afterward. I was pretty nice - and after I started going bald - they said pretty much "oh well"
- Pros: Noelle is talented
- Cons: permanent makeup messed up, hair extensions caused baldness
Nice until there is a problem

Went to the salon this past weekend for a hair trial for my June wedding. I met with Kathy and she was very nice and did a good job on my hair. The way my hair looked was just how I asked for it…then the problems began. When she attached my headpiece (a handmade pearl tiara) she broke 2 pieces off. She kept saying that the pearls needed to stand up straighter and kept pushing them forward, but she just had the headband angled wrong – she told me just to super glue it. It was an $80 crown that was handmade, it can’t just be super glued.
Next issue is I have myself and 4 bridesmaids who need our hair done by 10am the morning of my wedding. When I booked the appointment the receptionist Elaine said that it would be Kathy (the stylist) and a couple assistants. When the appointment was over, I asked Kathy how many people would be working on us…she told me just her. There is no way she could do all 5 of us that morning before 10am (Unless we wanted to start at 5am, which is ridiculous and not possible). I asked that I be refunded my $50 deposit since they could not provide the service that I agreed to, and also since I would need to have my headpiece repaired or replaced. They said it was against their policy to refund a deposit but the owner would give me a call the next day to discuss it. Of course she didn’t, so I called the next day and the owner would not even get on the phone with me…Elaine the receptionist relayed everything she said. They said they would refund $30 of the $50 deposit, which I said was not acceptable. I was hoping since they could not provide the service I thought I was going to receive and out of good faith for damaging my personal property, that we could settle this amicably.
(Also, they claim to have the “lowest prices for expert work” but they charge $65 for a trial and leading competitors in the area only charge $30.) Not good business practice and unprofessional.
- Pros: Stylist did my hair well, exactly how I asked
- Cons: Fail to resolve issues, unethical, cost more than its worth
Finally a stylist who LISTENED to what I wanted!!!

I went to this salon after having a horrible experiences at another salons after two of my friends referred me to Noelle Salon. My friends have been going to Suz for the past 2 years, who is the salon's 'master colorist' and I have to say I wish I had listened to them sooner!!! I find it really hard to trust anyone with my hair...but Suz not only listened to me, she actually did what asked her to!! (which we all know those stylists out there that do 'what they want' rather than what you actually ask for!!) I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment from start to finish, and enjoyed conversing with Suz as she made me laugh and feel like a true friend from the minute I sat in her chair! She turned my 'blorange' (her term for blondes gone bad!! I thought it was a hysterical term!!) into the most beautiful tone!! I look forward to going back there in the future....which is something I never thought I would say again before going to Noelle's!
- Pros: Listens, FUNNY, great atmosphere!
I've been a customer for 6 years and have had a great experience

Kristen has been doing my hair for about 4 years now and prior to that, Noelle was my stylist. Both of these women are fantastic at what they do and I would highly recommend them to anyone else considering hair extensions.
I drive over an hour to my appointments ( I live in Western MA). I'm sure that there are places closer to me that could perform the same services but I am very happy with Kristen and her work and wouldn't think of going elsewhere.
NOELLE is ALWAYS at the Salon when I am there for appointments. She is a fantastic stylist and business woman. Her salons are run not only with style but class as well. Great job ladies...and thanks for everything!
- Pros: Outstanding service, reasonable pricing!
BE SMART!! JUDGE FOR YOURSELF..BEST PLACE
by Jeyas at Citysearch
When I went online to research I came to the Noelle Salon site. That alone impressed me.
Being one to not take others opinions I left an email regarding the specific service I needed and received a
reply that same day! That right there barely happens. Once I went to the Salon in Malden I was greeted by this sweet woman Elaine ( I believe is her name) was taken to a private area and given all the options that would be best for me. I met with this stylist Kerri and I can say from personal experience I would not go anywhere else!! Noelle is always there when I come in and I have grown to adore her. You know you are working with someone who is professional, fair and truly cares about her staff and the clients!! If ever there was an issue you were not happy about you could absolutely feel free to call Noelle and be treated with kindness, compassion and fairness. I also can't say enough about Kerri. I look forward to going there each time. Just go and meet with them before making a decision you will not be dissapointed..

- Pros: the prices/staff

best hair extensions that last and look like your hair!
by wendy99 at Citysearch
I've been going to Noelle Salon for over 5 years now. I've been to Brenda,Kristin and of course Noelle. I trust them all with my hair and always have a smile on my face when I walk out the door. I recommend this salon for all talent and great conversation! They have all types of hair and really work with you on what you really want and what will look the best. The extensions stay in for months and maintaining it doesn't cost a lot. Just a fill every few months and it looks great again. Before I went to Noelle I search everywhere for good hair and a reasonable cost. When I found this salon I've been hooked. The hair, the talent and people are all what I've been looking for. Like I said its been over 5 years. The extensions are the best and I love the confidence I have getting out of the chair.
- Pros: thumbs up!
- Cons: none
I HAVE HAD HAIR EXTENSIONS FOR 8 YRS AND LOVE THEM!
by MarilynDphd at Citysearch
I am a extremely satisfied client of Noelle Salon and have been wearing extensions for over 8 years! My hair is no different than it was before extensions and it was always fine. I read an inaccurate review for Noelle Salon from someone who should have voiced their opinion to the salon. If they were unhappy - I know the staff would have pulled out the stops to make her happy! I started out having my hair done by Noelle and she is a great stylist, trains her staff well and knows her stuff more than anyone around!!!
I have been going to Brenda for approx. 3 years - trained under Noelle - a true "Master at hair extensions and everything else!" Brenda now is the manager of a Noelle Salon subsidiary called Extensions In A Flash and she is just a great talent and person. I can even call these people on their cell phones on a Sunday to schedule an appointment. I am a Phd - and not to brag, but I know when something is good or not. write to me if you'd like more info - I am the real thing and respect the staff talent and hard work of Noelle Salon & Extensions In A Flash!
- Pros: Personalized service, experience and intimate environment
