My only shopping weakness is eyeglasses and I was amazed by the selection of designer glasses this shop had to offer. At first I was intimidated, but the staff was super friendly and they knew what they were doing... they picked out frames that I would have never attempted to try on my own and I am so glad they did. I ended up with 2 two pairs of glasses, a cool pair of rimless glasses by Lindberg and a funky pair of Theo's for my nights and weekends. They also fit me in their schedule for an eye exam. The doctor was very knowledgeable and I did not feel rushed. Her equipment was state of the art and she also took a picture of the back of my eye instead of dilating them. I am sure they were not a bargain store but worth every penny!

Pros: Great service and selection

Cons: Parking was tough

My last three pairs of glasses were chosen by Ted. You give him a sense of what you are looking for and he is able to produce the perfect frame for your face. I always go with the first one he suggests, even after looking through the rest of the collection. I know of nowhere else in Boston that has as good of a collection of European frames. In addition to being conveniently located in the Financial District, the store has an excellent female optometrist who has fine tuned my prescription. I am uptight about my eyes and she is such a professional that I relax in her hands.

Pros: Excellent customer service

Cons: If you aren't hip enough to wear them, don't bother

-screwed up my perscription, the only nice doctor in there is a tall man who helped me fix it. The other doctor who is a woman doesn't know what she is doing -The eye glass fitter asked me if I put 2 contacts in one eye and wondered if that is why i couldn't see...like i am an idiot...and it was because the doc screwed up...coudln't see right for 2 months, caused an astigmatism. -called to pick up perscription, woman was nasty and told me to wait a minute in a sassy voice. Will not be going back to this place. Rude. I was always pleasant even when this woman screwed up on my eyes.

Pros: if you want designer frames they probably have them.

Cons: screwed up on my perscription causing me to have an astigmatism.

Excellent in every dimension. Great customer service and frame selection. The optometrist was very thorough.
