Great spicy food
by unavaham at Citysearch
The food is just not hot-spicy, but flavorful too. Heard a lot about their Pig Ankle dish, but they were out of Pig ankles when we went.
Will definitely go back again!
- Pros: Awesome spicy food
- Cons: Crowded

One of the Boston area's few options for authentic Taiwanese fare is good for cheap eats and large gatherings among Asian food lovers.
Great Value For Authentic Chinese!

I've been ordering take out from Mulan for over a dozen times already over the past two months or so (it's that good). The food has always been great and fresh. I've pretty much ordered everything on the menu already, and I can say most of them are very authentic Chinese food (somewhat southern/shanghainese) and you'll never go wrong with the recommended dishes!! Don't forget to try the fish filets, they're the best I've had around Boston!
- Pros: Exceptional Value, Authentic Chinese, Good Service
Rare find, authentic Taiwanese food!

Went to Mulan twice this summer and the food is good! I am Taiwanese-American and really enjoyed their Taiwanese fried rice stick noodle and the Mulan house special fish (spicy, terrific sauce!). I intend to return and try their handmade dumplings and sticky rice dishes.
Why order from the American-style side of the menu when you can get Taiwanese specialties that no other restaurant in the area will make for you???!! Bring an appetite, an open mind, and an empty stomach.
The decor is amateur but a BIG improvement from the previous asian restaurants that inhabited the same space (e.g. no TV in ceiling corner, no buffet bar on wheels). A 5 minute walk from the Kendall Sq cinema, 15 min from Kendall or Central Sq T, or park in the neighborhood with a Cambridge resident sticker or hope for one of the 3 spots in front of the restaurant.
- Pros: quiet, relaxed, polite staff, authentic food
- Cons: amateur decor
Best pho ever!

No parking, no atmosphere, but if you want some great Vietnamese food at an affordable price..this is it! Although we have been to many restaurants in the area (many of them excellent) this is the place I think about when I'm planning to visit my sister. I crave the pho, but next time I'm trying the hot pot my sister had the last time we went.
- Pros: food, value
- Cons: no parking
