Felt was a horrible choice to celebrate NYE. The door staff were incredibly rude and arrogant as they blasted people in line and didn't seem to care if anyone overheard their comments and insults. This is a poorly managed place which was evident to us from the start of the evening. Nothing special as they advertised, all promises with no delivery. Drinks tasted horrible and the place was pretty dirty. Next year it won't be Felt for us.
Pros: For superior service go next door to the Ritz.
Cons: Dirty rude staff and trashy crowd.

A group of us celebrate my birthday at Felt on Saturday night and it was awesome! We booked a VIP table on the fourth floor, the club floor, and it was totally worth it. We had a blast, the staff was excellent and the music was awesome. We are already planning another night out there.

Well, I'm a bit surprised at some of the comments on this because I went to Felt recently and had probably one of the best times in Boston I've had in a long time. I went there for my birthday a couple of weeks ago with 10 friends and had the night pre-arranged with one of the managers--(Todd I think?). We had reservations for dinner and then a nightclub package to go upstairs. Now...1) Most places in Boston don't even offer the options Felt offers; 2) dinner ambiance was great--they had an 80s band playing that night so it was kinda cool to have some extra entertainment; 3) going to the nightclub was smooth, no problems; 4) my waitress was excellent! It was a bit crowded but didn't have to wait for drinks at all. 5) one of the bouncers at the end of the night got me and my girlfriend a cab because we were a bit tipsy by the time we left. So overall people, I would stop the complaining...yeah the place is expensive, and of course like any club there will be issues that come up...but you are after all in a club, and you do live in Boston you know!!! I guess everyone's experience is different but it's only fair to attest that mine was AWESOME!
Pros: lots of options, great scene, nice interiors
Cons: stairs, lots of them

We went to Felt for a private party set up by our office with the events coordinator and everything from beginning to end was perfect. We booked the entire third floor which had pool tables, a private bar, and a buffet table set up just for us. The various appetizers were delicious, the waitresses and managers were friendly and accomodating which contributed to the trendy social atmosphere of the club. I had never been before this party, but I would definitely go back with a group of friends to check out the scene and enjoy all the ammenities it has to offer.

We went there for dinner on a Thursday night. Great atmosphere whether for a first date with wine and excellent food, a girl's night out with drinks and appetizers, or an after work drink with a co worker. It was a restaurant that catered to various occasions with a low lit bar, plasma tvs, and music at the right sound level for once. The service was efficient and friendly and the grilled shrimp cocktail and lobster ravioli were just two of our delicious choices from the sophisticated menu. Highly recommended.

After looking up online for a New Year's party we found Felt's online add .The ticket costed 60 dollars, however, the club offered 2 hours of sushi and champagne toast all inclusive . The advertisement looked quite promising - the music choice would be: electronic ,techno, trance ,dance, and everything else but hip hop or rap. Finally, after a long wait we got in and the first floor did not look so bad, however, after going to the second floor the place looked like a cheap pool table lounge. We came back down stairs and paid 50 dollars for four of the worst drinks that made myself look stupid for spending that much money for a lame drink that had taste of regular soda. I spoke to some waitresses and asked about the sushi and they said they would start serving it soon, however , until the end of the party I did not see even one plate going out.. On the second round of drinks (another 50 dollars), we have to change our drinks to vodka since the bartender could not find the whiskey bottle , and by the way, we had to purchase extra shots of vodka because the drinks did not have any in it .That night not only I was unsatisfied with the bar service but bunch of other people around me were constantly asking to have their drinks fixed making me realize how abd bad the drinks were . After a couple of hours of disappointment we decided to go and speak to the DJ to change the hip hop music to something more festive . Our attempts were ignored by the DJ-girl ( it seemed like she didn't know what is going on that night)until one of the doorman who felt probably really bad for the crowd's disappointment. He started up with a few nice " club" songs and wormed up the crowed, but than when he had to take off the previous girl messed up all the music setup again - very poor performance as a DJ. By midnight the countdown was followed by another rap song and no champagne toast. Thank you Felt for the worst New Year's Eve in my life experience!!!!!!
Pros: When is time to leave the place...
Cons: All of it!!!

Me and my wife come to Boston every New Years to visit family. The last 2 years we were talked into Felt. The first year was horrible. We bout some overpriced tickets, but only had access to the feeble 1st level. When I discussed this with the manager (Brian), he said, believe it or not, "what do you want for that price? This is new years eve. For and extra $100 bucks I'll personally walk you to the real party". We declined and was forced to pay for watered down, overpriced drinks all night. They didn't even do the midnight countdown or champagne toast that was promised. Now last year was twice as bad. A bouncer harassed my wife all night. He followed her to the bathroom, tried to get her #, etc. When I addressed the issue, 4 bouncers attacked me. Threw me down and held me there. We had to leave early. The manager refused a refund to us. We were stuck "on the streets" for new years. Save your money. This is an overpriced, corrupt, poorly managed, thug hang-out con job. DO NOT GO TO FELT!
Pros: We'll NEVER go back
Cons: Felt

I have been to Felt a handful of times and each of those times have greatly admired the bartenders. I should have taken the time to look around and notice the crowd (or lack thereof). In the 5 times I went there, the last being 2 weeks ago, there was no consistency. A month ago I walked in and they had satellite radio playing (which can have cool music) but the signal kept going in and out!! It was so annoying! Another time there was a DJ playing a terrible inconsistent mix of music (I actually preferred the patchy satellite radio). We changed floors and paid a cover charge to go into their club which was barely 1/3 full and was FREEZING. The first time I was there in the spring of '07 I thought it was as advertised, upscale and trendy, and it was some kind of social event that or professional group but my friends and I haven't had a good time there since. We gave it several chances, but we won't be back. It's expensive, they serve weak drinks, and it's more likely a to be a bad than good night as far as good looking people. It's out of the way, and tough to go elsewhere by the time you realize it's a bad night.
Pros: good looking bartenders that can't bartend
Cons: bad area, not consistent atmosphere/music/vibe, expensive parking, isolated

We and a party of at least 25 went on Dec. 1st for a 40th B-day party. My husband and I arrived first and were escorted to an area on the second floor where there was an enclosed pool table with a blue velvet bench seat all around it. That is when the grossness started. The bench was ripped and there were stains all over it. The fried calamari was under fried and sitting in a big stuck together mound. The drink service was just neglectful. Most of the time it took 40 minutes to get a drink not counting the fact that they are way beyond exspensive. When it was time to go up to the nightclub we thought we would be allowed to go up in the elevator since we were VIP. How wrong we were. The only one's allowed in the elevator were the old people and the really pretty girls. When we walked up the bouncers letting people up into the club were way beyond rude and very insulting. The club had great music, but it would have been better if we weren't sticking to the rug everywhere we went. It was disgusting. The finale of the night was when we found out Felt has beaters and not bouncers. When they were closing my husband had an incident with a bouncer. Without cause he was placed in a choke hold several times. They began to drag him to the elevator where they would not allow me to go with them. All I can say is that a regular size guy went into the elevator with no major injuries and came out bleeding massively from his head. I thought only the dives in Boston had bad bouncers I guess Felt has Bully Bouncers to. Never go there it's not worth it. You'll have a better time at Goodtimes in Somerville. Don't go to a place with bad bouncers you could be thier next victim.
Pros: No pro's
Cons: To many con's

Boston, I truly wish there was something good to say about Felt, bad fortunately for anyone seeking a memorable time in Boston, there's NOT ! Could there be any worse place to visit!? I couldn't agree more with the previous review that was written. Felt's "cover up" crew is doing there very best to fool and pacify the general public. They are trying to make us all believe that this is a hot spot, but I wonder how could than be true? When the service, layout, atmosphere and hospitality is as cold as ice. If you want rude, incompetent people to service you than Felt is for you my friends! Call all of your friends, text them, email them, write a letter, tell them all that you have found Boston's one stop entertainment dumpster! If Felt and their team of dishonest con artists are successful, this may not even reach any of you. I just hope that honesty reaches you all in time, before you have the worst night of your lives. I have had dates, after dinner meetings, and friendly get togethers ruined based on what Felt considers "good service". I am not one to bl*w a whistle.. but I will crank a fog horn in your direction so that you do not experience what I and so many others have had to. Chin Up Boston! Sincerely, A Friend.
Pros: NONE
Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE..
