Hands down, the best steakhouse around in Boston outside of the pricey steakhouses in Boston, without the pretentiousness. The Roadhouse offers steak the size of a poodle depending on which cut you want. The baby back ribs are lovely - covered in great BBQ sauce, and indeed, fall off the bone good. The ribeye has such a nice flavor to it. Easily the best house salad I've ever had...seriously (be sure to order it with everything on it - cheese, eggs, you name it, it's on there). And of course, that warm bread with the cinnamon butter everyone raves about. If you're going to go, be sure to call ahead on the weekends - at least two hours in advance (they're always packed - which is a pretty good sign to it's quality). Be prepared for a loud place, but this place is best in groups anyway. A fun night out, and I would find it hard to believe if anyone here had left unsatisfied.

Pros: The food. Have never had a bad anything here.

Cons: The wait - be sure to call ahead, and the loud factor

From start to finish this restaurant has it all. The bread with that warm cinnamon butter is worth the trip itself. I didn't even like ribs until I had a full slab of those tender ribs at the roadhouse. The sweet potato with all the fixin's is one of the best things I've ever put into my mouth. The only criticism I have is the coctails which don't contain much alcohol, which I guess is the case most places when you order mixed drinks. Definitely don't sleep on this place even though its out there in location a bit. You can't lose here.

The bread is worth the trip to Roadhouse. For those of you that like beginning-of-the-meal perks such as peanuts, warm bread and cinammon butter, as well as some of the best side house salads I've ever had, this is the place for you. Also, their smothered chicken is delicious. Besides the sometimes long waits (call ahead if you can) and the loud atmosphere, this restaurant is OUTSTANDING.

Pros: great bread, tasty salads, fun atmosphere

Cons: crowded at night, sometimes too loud

If there's one thing that draws you back its the dinner rolls they serve you when you walk in. Although I'm not too crazy about the loud atmosphere and the peanut shells all over the floor, they have good food.

Pros: Parking

Cons: Crowded

The bread they give you here was like "melt in your mouth goodness". I ordered the sirlion steak here and was pleasantly surprised. They steak was cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning and it was so affordable. My husband had the ribs. It was good but not the best. But for the price, we can't complain.

Pros: Great food, Affordable

I have 4 words for TR'S BBQ...DE LISH E OUS! We drive past several rib joints in Boston to get these ribs! Fall off the bone good! The smashed potatoes are no slouch either..

Pros: free peanuts, child friendly, worth the wait

Cons: , noisy, long seating waits

When it comes to BBQ, I am VERY fussy! I won't just settle for any piece of leather "steak", or dried-out chewy ribs. The Texas Roadhouse has mouth-watering, tender, juicy, select cuts of delicious beef, and awesome smokey, fall-off-tha-bone ribs (my absolute favorite!)! The food is the BEST! Although a little pricey, I highly reccomend dining there for your next barbeque exprience!

Pros: fresh food, friendly staff, awesome bbq

Cons: , a bit pricey, peanuts abound
