Perfecto!

by stickmany at Citysearch

This place is great! We live right around the corner and frequent DiMio all the time. The pizza is excellent and the people working always take care of us when we come in. It's just a great neighborhood restaurant that doesn't have a lot of frills but is still very nice, and at the end of the day delivers one of the best thin crust pizzas I've ever had.

  • Pros: Easy to get a table, casual, good food.
  • Cons: A little pricey

Never again

by ekw at Citysearch

All I've heard is good reviews for this place, and I can't understand why. I've ordered take out on two seperate occasions, and have been let down twice. I find their pizza bland and cardboardy, and not to mention overpriced for what you actually get. I will say that the employees are very friendly though, but thats not enough for me to ever go back.

I stopped by diMio for lunch one day...and I was so impressed with the pizza. I was raving to my friends about it and we decided to order delivery from diMio two days later! The salads were great too...and the atmosphere is very nice. I highly suggest this pizzeria!!

Good stuff! I went to dimio last saturday night with my girlfriend, and we both left fully satisfied. The arugula salad was a fantastic appetizer, and their cheese pizza was awesome. We had a nice bottle of shiraz for $17 and and left having spent less then fifty bucks including the tip. Fast service and friendly staff, will definately go again+++

Fresh Toppings, Great thin crust pizza, and great service

by MihranYeni at Citysearch

diMio is the hidden gem of Cambridge.

The pizza is fresh, the people are nice, and each table has a set of flash cards to help you brush up on your Italian.

diMios thin crust pizza is great because the center of the pizza doesnt get soggy.

They know how to cook a good pie.

  • Pros: High quality ingredients, service, peroni
  • Cons: Parking

Porter Square's entry in the crowded Cambridge gourmet pizza scene delivers with pricey, inventive pies and delectable salads.

by Contributor at Citysearch

The Scene
Area families and graduate students with a hankering for top-notch pizza fill diMio's tiny, warm-colored dining room to ruminate over the menu's lengthy list of toppings and specialty pies. After placing an order at the counter, patrons grab a seat to watch the action on busy Massachusetts Avenue. Counter workers veer between friendly and indifferent.

The Food
The restaurant mirrors Cambridge's other beloved gourmet pizzerias by serving expensive thin-crust pies with extraordinary toppings, like homemade red onion jam and julienne leeks. Gamberetto, the satisfying house specialty, stands out for its bevy of high-end toppings (grilled asparagus, fresh tiger shrimp) and price ($25 for a large). Also worth trying are warm paninis, served on homemade focaccia, and large, colorful salads like the insalata verdure (caramelized onions and roasted fennel and peppers provide loads of flavor). Homemade cream sodas and lime rickeys provide a sweet aside to most meals.
