This place is soooo dirty and sooo disgusting. It can't even compare to the rest of the bars in Fanuiel Hall. The waitstaff is always new because people always quit. The downstairs was flooded and the same day they had a party there. So unsanitary. I am sure they could never pass any health inspections.

They gave my bill to someone else to sign, so when I retrieved my card they said it had no charges on it, but the next day I had a hefty charge on my card that someone else had signed for. They gave this other person their credit card back and gave them my bill to sign. Not that guys fault though, it's McSadden's screw up.

Also, a friend was looking for a lost article of clothing, and the bouncer told her it was "not his problem".

There's too many bars downtown to put up with the jerks at this one.

Comfy port in a storm!

Bouncers play favorites to their own friends....

Here I am born and raised on the East Coast, however live in SF. I went there a few weeks back to meet up with some friends. One of my friends happens to be a good looking female. I arrived with one other friend and we order around for the girls and ourselves. It turns out that one of my friends was getting played on by a fellow she just did not care to be bothered with. I said some none threatening things just get him off my friend's back. The selfish kid decided to say, fine then I will have you kicked out. Moments later without any notice or warning from the Bouncers. Boston Police Department, the kid I had exchanged a few words with, and a bouncer escorted me out with no explanation. They wouldn't even let me sign off on my tab.

I would say "just okay"

I had never heard of this bar until this past weekend when I met some of my friends in town after work for drinks. My first thought when I entered was that the bar looked just like a frat house. There was not a ton of room to stand so people were constantly bumping into me and my friends. The beers were about $4, which is lower than average so that was a plus. Also, there are a couple of people who mention this place as a good pick up joint - I don't know about the ladies that were there, but the men were only so-so. I was hoping for their sake they were independently wealthy or had great careers.

Advertised Halloween Costume Contest Didn't Happen

I was at the McFadden's Halloween Party last night (Tuesday 31st) hoping to win the advertised $1000 costume contest prize. There were some good costumes there which people had spent a lot of time making, it was very busy and I had a lot of fun. I was Optimus Prime.

However, I left disappointed at 1am because no one could tell me what was happening concerning the contest. Today, I heard from other friends who stayed on after me, that the contest did not happen, no prize was awarded and it got a bit ugly. I find it difficult to believe an establishment would act in such an unethical way.

Crowded, Trendy, Long Lines, Cover Charge,

I'm not to fond of Downtown anyways. McFadden's is too popular. Takes forever to get a drink upstairs. Downstairs is hot and smells like dudes. Not a cheap night on the town.

However, if your looking to get some this is the place. Guys: Amazingly hot girls. Girls: you are severly out numbered

What a crappy bar

Place wasn't crowded when i arrived around 9 and it took 25 min to get a drink and i was sitting at the bar. Halfway into the night, the men's bathroom upstairs was flooded and no one fixed it. Plus the one toilet was broken and covered with a trash bag. Way to run an awful place management. The crowd was the only place that partially saved the night.

What a place!!!!!!!!!

This place is great! Went there with a bunch of friends and they all loved it. The drinks were strong and reasonably priced. It gets crowded so get there early if you want a good spot. And the woman, oh the woman-very good talent. Definetaly recommend this place.
