We live a block away and go out to eat at least 4 times a week. Between my husband and I, we have had 4 episodes at Publick House. All with at least a 30 to 45 minute wait for food, and that's not even at a peak hour. These attempts to enjoy a local restaurant were about a year or more ago. We decided to give it another try. How could they stay in business with such bad service. Things must have changed, we think. It was Friday night at 5:30. The restaurant is 25% full. We both ordered a beer and a salad. The beer came quickly. The salad came in 45 minutes. The waitress said it takes a long time to make the zuchini salad. What!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stuffed zuchini salad was cold and so was my husband's calamari salad. Well, Publick House has not changed. Go across the street to the GT for a much better meal and great drinks.
Pros: a block from where we live
Cons: horrible service and cold food
