Dr. Casey Cook is the best dentist I have ever come across. After moving to Somerville, I needed to find a new dentist. I'm a student without dental insurance, so cost was a concern. I tried one dentist, in Cambridge, and was shocked by his prices. I made an appointment with Dr. Cook, and he assured me that he could do all the work I needed, without ripping me off! (he also went item by item over what the other guy wanted to charge me and laughed about how over priced they were) He did admit that the other dentist is probably driving a better car than he is. Anyways, Dr. Cook made me feel 100% comfortable! He's is the funniest dentist I have ever met, his staff is very friendly and reassuring, and most importantly, he takes his job very seriously and does great work! I will never go to another dentist! Oh, and they listen to the best music over there! I have such a good time at Dr. Cook's - even when i'm getting a filling - that I will never avoid the dentist again! I could not recommend Dr. Cook more highly. Go and see for yourself!!
Pros: friendly and funny, competent, great music, very reasonable cost
Cons: Davis is hard to park in, but there's a lot across the street and it's 1 min from the T

Dr. Cook and his crew have been caring for my teeth for several years, and I'll never go anywhere else! Extremely friendly, welcoming, and most importantly, effective! You'll never feel uncomfortable in the chair. Highly recommended.
