Postcard received 8/9/07 - Hello, I don't know If you will remember me, but I wanted to thank you. When I walked into your store you were so kind, and when I tried to pay you and you said thank you and refused my money giving me the items as a gift, I was overwhelmed. People don't always say thank you to the men and women who serve our country, but you did! You will not be forgotten!! - Petty Officer MM3 Stephanie McNeal, USN, USS Wasp

I was in about 2 years ago, things were a bit disorganized, I went in recently to take a peak and was pleasantly surprised. Apparently a new owner became involved shortly after I was last there. The selection of artist's canvasses was unbelievable. They even have some of their own exclusively licensed artists. I bought three small xmas ornament canvasses, and they also helped me with threads. I gave them my thread budget and they worked well within my budget. We also discussed different ideas for using different kinds of stitiches. They mentioned if there was anything I wanted to try and learn that they have classes and "stitch and ***** " (chat) nights. What fun! They have just found a new regular. So far the thread amounts are all correct and If I run out they can get it for me as we wrote down all of the threads and numbers. They also have finishing services they can sub out to for you. Talk about service! I will continue to drive 1 1/2 hours just to go here for all of my needlepoint needs! Nothing in NH comes close to comparing! Thank you Ladies!
Pros: Variety and quality of canvasses and threads, knowledgeable, educational, fun!
Cons: None that I could see

I was very disappointed with this shop. Although their materials are nice and of good quality, the employees are exceptionally rude - even for Boston standards. Furthermore, I was sold twice as much thread as I needed for the project, despite the fact that I expressed concern that the saleswoman was giving me too much thread at the time of purchase. I would strongly recommend avoiding this store and shipping at the other and friendlier needlepoint shop down the street.

This shop has a great selection of canvasses and more fibers than any other shop I've been in. They have numerous trunk shows during the year, classes 6 days a week in the morning and evening. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and are expert stitchers. They could use a bit more organization, though. The finishing is superb!
