My husband and I were looking for a quiet romantic place for our first night out in months. Reviews listed this place as romantic but it was not what I was expecting. It was a nice place but if you are looking for romantic this isn't really it. We did have a wonderful waterfront view and it is quiet, relaxed place to eat. The food was not spectacular but it was good. However, my husband had the Lobster Bisque and for $8/ bowl it was below expectations.
Pros: view, quiet setting, easily accessible
Cons: a bit expensive, tables close together, reservations required

I was astonished by a hotel restuarant being this good. I have dined in many hotel restaurants and this compares to some of the Big name Steak & Seafood restaurants in Boston! Great Service, Great Food, Beautiful View. I was nervious after reading a bad review about Lamb, but I didn't even see Lamb on the dinner menu! The Sirloin was great and my husband had the best Halibut he has ever tasted! I found the Waiter to be very knowledgable. Suggested some great pairing wines! I have since returned 4 times in the last 2 weeksfor all different meal periods!!! Each time it gets better.
Pros: Food was great, Beautiful view, Attentive Service
Cons: gets busy for brunch

What else could you look for in a restaurant? I read a review about bad Lamb... I had the Lamb and I thought it was better than Capital Grill's!!! Do not know what the previous review was talking about. The server did such a good job. I was amazed at her knoledge of both Wine and Food. I would highely Recommend this Restaurant.
Pros: Beautiful View, Location, Great Food

Major disappointment. Rack of lamb was cold, sloppily prepared, mint jelly was Stop & Shop's own brand, I bet. Waitstaff zombie-like, not knowledgeable of food or wines. I wouldn't go back if it were free.
Pros: River view, Parking, Easy to drive to
Cons: Cold food, Unattractive food, Cheap hotel decor

This is the best deal in the city. Unbelievable Filet mignon for under $25, great wine list and service was uncomparable. Very unusual for a hotel restaurant!!! I have since been back for their breakfast buffet and found myself a regular customer. Great location @ mass pike & 128. I now host all business meeting there!
