I purchased a 2005 Jeep Cherokee from Bourne’s in January. Prior to that, I spent almost a year trying to decide what I wanted for my next car. I went into Bourne’s with a few different options in mind & Mike in sales was very knowledgeable in helping me to make an informed decision. Once I decided I wanted a Jeep he also helped me decide if I wanted the new or old body style. They did not have the color I wanted in stock so Mike had the guy responsible for purchasing look for my color choices. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they were able to find what I wanted. They gave me a very fair value for my trade in and I financed through them. I was very pleased with the ease of the entire process. Working with Mike was a pleasure. He was professional, informed, and made an actual effort to make sure I got what I wanted. Since buying the Jeep, when I have asked for a service appointment Mike in service has asked me when I want to bring in my car instead of just assigning me a day. In both sales and services Bourne’s is the friendliest, service oriented dealer I have dealt with.

IN JANUARY I FINANCED A CAR THROUGH BOURNES, I DEVELOPED A ENGINE PROBLEM WITH LESS THAN 200 MILES ON THE CAR. I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR, I THEN HAD IT EVALUATED AND RETURNED WITH THE EVALUATION, THEY RELUCTANTLY CHANGED ONE FUEL INJECTOR AND ONE SPARK PLUG WIRE. THE CAR CONTINUED TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. AGAIN I RETURNED THE CAR TO THEM, AND AGAIN THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. EACH TRIP TO THERE DEALERSHIP I LEFT WITH THE SAME RESULTS, THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. THIS CAR HAD DEVELOPED THE PROBLEM WITH LESS THAN 200 MILES OF DRIVING. I'M CONSIDERING CONTACTING BETTER BUSINESS OR THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. THIS CAR COSTS OVER 15,000. YET THEY STILL DON'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

I just purchased a used acura from bourne's and it couldn't have been a better more convenient experience. I dealt with several courteous sales people who assisted my husband and I with the process, we told them what we were looking for and they located the car for us and we were able to pick it up the next day! There were no games on prices, the price they advertised was the price we paid which was great. The car was completely detailed and in perfect shape when I picked it up and they took care of the registration insurance and financing while I waited. I had noticed a minor issue with the starter when I test drove the car and they made an appointment for me the next day and fixed the starter while I waited. This by far was the most convenient and pleasant car purchase experience, I would recommend Bourne's to anyone looking to buy a used car.

Bought 2005 Grand Cherokee after searching dealers for over a month and finding they had the lowest prices for the model and options I was looking for. They gave me a fair value on my trade and even put new brakes, gave me an oil change and tune up on the Jeep without having to ask. I also did financing through them which went extremely smooth. Car was immaculate and ready the next day for pickup. Family members have purchased cars there as well and had the same great experience. Highly Recommended

My wife and I were looking to purchase a late model BMW. With research on the internet, we were able to determine that we wanted a 2003 or 2004 325i. We shopped at several dealerships, and in each case, the salesperson made us feel uncomfortable. They would avoid direct questions as to the condition of the vehicle, insist on squeezing into the rear seat during our test drive and were not forthcoming with the vehicle history. Thank goodness we found Bourne's Auto Sales. Everyone we met at this establishment was friendly and helpful without any pressure at all. We were allowed to drive several vehicles that we were interested in and there was no salesperson tagging along. As a result of the price being plainly listed on the window sticker, one of the biggest hassles of buying is eliminated.... you simply don't need to negotiate. I checked the price we paid on our 325i and it was considerably below the values listed on NADA or Kelly Blue Book. Once we finalized our purchase, Gerrard, our very helpful salesperson informed us that it would be 2 or 3 days before we could actually pick up the vehicle because it had to go through their 27 point checklist. No one is more skeptical than I am when it comes to used car dealerships. I anticipated that the car would receive a quick wash and vacuum and nothing else; I was so wrong. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, Gerrard informed us that they found a couple of things during the inspection and corrected them. I was amazed to find out that all 4 tires had been replaced, the rear brakes had been replaced, the battery had been replaced and the car was given a full oil and filter change as well as a comprehensive detailing that would cost you $150 at a detail shop. I am totally impressed with Bourne's and look forward to doing business with them in the future and recommending them to my friends and associates.
Pros: No pressure, fair price, they simplify and make enjoyable the buying experience
Cons: You've got to wait 2 or 3 days to get your car but the wait is certainly worth it.
