Dollar Rent A Car

Not too impressed

I have rented from them in the past (they are located close to my home) and I have not been too thrilled with them. They charged me for gas that they were not supposed to (the car was supposed to be full when I picked it up). Took a bit of time to get reimbursed. The guy at the counter was a fast-talking used car salesman type who really pushed their insurance plan (though if you have a Visa card you dont need it - but he acted as though he knew nothing about such coverage). Customer service is poor. In fact I JUST called them to see if they had a last minute rental available and just got hung up on. I am not kidding.

• Pros: Great location for city folk
• Cons: Not cheap, poor service
