DSW downtown crossing

The poorest customer service that i have encountered in a long time. Went to buy two pairs of boots and ended up buying none. Found the store manager not helpful and rude. Will never shop there and I will tell my friends to avoid as well.
- Cons: Poor customer service and shoes not properly displayed
Boston's discount shopping mecca.

The Scene
Rest up for this shopping excursion. You're likely to be bumped and pushed more than once, especially on the weekends and after work as tons of shoppers and people rushing home litter the nearby streets, which are closed to cars during business hours. Street vendors hawking jewelry, T-shirts and flower bouquets add to the chaos.
The Goods
You'll find Filene's Basement; the queen of discount shoe-dom, DSW: Designer Shoe Warehouse; and the Jeweler's Building, for those of us who find Tiffany and Shreve, Crump & Low a bit too pricey. Interspersed are stores like HMV, Marshalls, Contempo, Gap Outlet, Macy's and Barnes & Noble. Downtown Crossing does not cater to dieters. Everything is meant for eating on the go. If you're not lured by the sweet smell of roasted peanuts, then grab a bite at the Corner Mall's food court or shovel in some fries from Burger King.
