What users are saying:
Boston's premier street for getting clothed, coiffed and seen.

In Short
Think people in tight black "ensembles." Chain-smoking Euros populate sidewalk cafes and check out the competition, while tourists wander, punk-rock kids hang out by J.P. Licks, and suburbanites come into the city for a fancy meal. Perhaps even more integral to the act of Newburying oneself than getting new duds is getting an image overhaul at one of the dozens of posh salons and spas that line the street.
I miss Boston

After recently moving from the area I miss my perambulations down Newbury street- anytime of the year you can enjoy a glimps of every culture and tax braket. I worked at Charlies on Newbury street for one season and can tell you- the food is good- prices are resonible and it might have the best patio on Newbury- Enjoy!

Awsome Place to visit, A bit Pricey but strolling down Newbury street window shopping is fun as well. Summer time concerts in the streets are always nice and they are free. There are many trendy places to eat and shop. Newbury St is definitly unique and you can find a variety of offbeat items along your stroll down Newbury St.
- Pros: Uniqueness, Trendy, Good experience
- Cons: Too Expensive, People can be snotty

This is my favorite place to shop around Boston. I will find great prices that are nowhere else found. Besides it is much nicer, than shopping malls. You can shop, eat, browse, and enjoy!

This is a beautiful street, and very unique. There are many little shops located along either side of the street, and you can spend a whole afternoon exploring. The best route is to start from the Mass Ave side, and walk all the way down to the Boston Public Gardens. You can have lunch or dinner or a snack along the way. A lot of cafes have outdoor seating in the summer, and it's great to hang out there.
