Possible credit card fraud !!
by R0d
I was at caprice the day after x-mas. I had a great time there however days later, as Im going over my credit card statement, I see a change of $150 when my tab that night was $102 !!
after several voice messages, no one has gotten back to me...
I will keep ya all posted on the outcome
Cheers,
Rod
Nice spot if you are lookin to take it easy

I went on a Sat nite and the line was not too long. The bouncers weren't actually jerks like at most places. No cover which was a big plus! The place has a great amount of seating as well as dance areas. It was the right amount of crowded in the sense that I could dance and have a good time without being slammed into every 5 seconds. The music was very ecclectic ( ex Indian beats over hip hop beats). I wished they played more hip hop than they did, but what they were playing was keeping me up and dancing. I had the Cosmos and they were amazing. They weren't ridiculously proced, but they were definitely not cheap. Overall, I would say a good place to have a fun night out without hitting the big club scene.
- Pros: yummy drinks
- Cons: price of the yummy drinks
Euro Atmosphere
by commanderdan
Saturday night...long line and only cost me $40 to get bouncer to escort inside w/ no wait. Bartenders served my Makers and water w/ excess Makers just like I like it. Hot chicks of Mediterranean descent all over. On second level they have another smaller dance floor and a big bar area w/ big lounge chairs and couches good for making out. Smoked cigarette inside and nobody said anything to me about it. Highly recommend.
- Pros: Expensive drinks gets rid of the rift raft
Nice spot. I'd go here again.

I had a good time here. There's three rooms for different styles of music. I prefer dance music and one room had the DJ set up right on the floor with the crowd. It was pretty sweet. The drinks are a little pricey but that's Boston so I was prepared for that. It's within walking distance from Charles playhouse so of you feel like partying after seeing a play check this place out.
- Pros: Fun. Not much attitude.
- Cons: Pricey
good on a thurs
by bdawg5090
i have only been here once and it was a thurs. what toped this club off for me was that its 3 clubs in one, i guess underbar is under and another dance floor + bar is on top (i donno if it has a name) all this for no cover, now i dont go clubbing all that much but this is the first i know of without a cover.
it was a very diverse crowd on thurs and i was happy to pay $9 drinks without that cover. maybe i need to check out bar if they have cover, but i at least recommend this place on thurs.
- Pros: no cover
- Cons: could use more people for their large downstairs and upstairs
terrible service

Cap off a good Friday night here if you want to be physically handled (ie assaulted) by their meathead bouncers for absolutely no reason at all! Won't be spending my money here anymore, nor will anyone else I was with that night!
One of the Theatre District's most upscale nightlife destinations offers a slice of European flair.

In Short
Located across from the Wang Center, Caprice attracts euro students and club kids with its moneyed vibe. The split-level establishment features a lounge with two pool tables and a private bar on the second floor. Dark, rich colors and floor-to-ceiling drapes give both rooms an international feel. Drink prices are not for the faint of heart.
Still Love It
by young_professional
I have been going to Caprice late night for over 3 years and have never been disappointed. I went lately for their hip hop night on Thursday, which is a new addition for the place. Well, it was not as great as Friday or Saturday night's International and Latin night. But still, it was fun. Things got heat up after 12, and everybody was dancing everywhere. The people are definitely better than other clubs' hip hop crowd, less aggressive, but more friendly.
- Pros: Great Music, Good Crowd, No Cover
- Cons: No coat-checking
Nothing capricious about this lounge
by ivahhc
I've never eaten here but I love the atmosphere and the international crowd that shows up post-dinner -- probably due to the DJ who spins everything from Arabic, Latin, and Indian to Euro-house ... mm mmm mmmm. Dancing in the corridors and between tables has never been more fun. The drinks are affordable and there's room to chill or play pool if you don't want to shake your booty. And best of all, no cover charge!
service has yet to improve
by cher012
hoping to have a nice late-night dining experience in the theatre district, i was quite disappointed with the service at this well-reputated restaurant. everything seemed nice, though not spectacular: the food, the ambience, and the wine. however, there weren't enough ( any! ) available waiters on standby, and the waitress we had didn't seem presentable at all. her apperent lack of profession and experience couldn't make up for the nice soft lounge music in the background.
