I have decided to stay away from this place. I don't understand all the attitude from the servers, host, bar men or bar maids. These guys are being paid minimum wage, most of them live in the south end or dorchester with housemates. One goes there to pay money, and I would say a lot of money on those so called drinks, and these silly men/boys still think that they can treat paying customers with such attitude. AGAIN, you guys are hired help, most of you can't even afford the drinks...unless of course the management gives you a discount. Your attitude is keeping people away. Paying customers who actually pay your salaries. So drop the attitude, grow up, get a better education, learn to speak English properly, and find a better job. Most of you south end/dorchester queens I would not even hire to walk or pickup after my dogs.

So, in the end the club cafe is losing out. There are plenty more restaurant, clubs, cafes for a well educated gay man to go, attitude free, and spend his money.

Yes, the owner of this "disgrace place" should be ashamed. I don't know where he recruited those idiots and morons working in this club/cafe.

Beware. Beware!!! Apparently the security in the nightclub isn't all that SECURE!!!! And the owner thinks if you are gay certain safety measures DO NOT apply to you!!! On saturday night a young woman was punched in the face by a MALE patron, the owner asked not to get the police involved and when the woman replied she would be, his response was "you do know your in a gay bar!!!" So ladies and gentlemen at club cafe and you are gay you do not deserve the same protection you would if you were straight!!! Since when is it ok for a MAN to hit a WOMAN?!?!?! According to the owner of this disgrace of a nightclub men can hit women as long as they are all gay!!!!! I suggest all people gay and straight stay away from this atrocity!!!!!!!! (THE ONLY REASON A STAR WAS GIVEN AS A RATING IS BC CITY SEARCH REQUIRES IT!)

Club Crap-PAY. Expensive, generic menu. Slowwwwwww, rude service. Lots of vagrants walking along the sidewalk, watching you eat. Try finding a place to park nearby.. HA!

Not what you would expect. Went there for the 1st time last night. It will be my last. Staff very rude and acted like they could care less if you were there or not. The place was very tacky and the dark lighting did not camoflage the dingy decor. The music was awful. The food forgettable.

not service orientated. Unfriendly & clique-like atmosphere. Truely a Boston group unlike the rest of the country. Needs more service orientation and attitude adjustments.

Bad food and mediocre service. The decoration of the place is awful and unappealing, some of the waiters and bartenders are unfriendly and with a lot of attitutude. The food is bad! The restaurant is always empty and I think there is a simple reason for that, this place is just not good. Don't waste your money dining here.

Closed 04. The Scene
Couples and groups mingle at the bar and the adjoining section of tables--tables placed so close together you are nearly seated with your neighbors (a favorable feature for flirtatious types). On the make? The mirrored wall across from the bar lets you soak up every view of the room (and every patron) from wherever you are.

What to Wear and What to Drink
Anything goes, from denim to a suit, bottled beer to a port.

Required Snacking
There's no need to leave the bar when your body needs nutrients; try fried chunks of artichoke, broccoli and sweet potato served with horseradish mayo, or hummus with chopped red onion, tomato and plenty of pita wedges.

The Restaurant
And then there's the restaurant, a fairly serious restaurant we might add. In the two-tiered, dimly lit dining room, try the tuna (grilled sushi-rare) or the sautéed chicken breast.

Pickup Factor
Very, very likely.
