I go here regularly to visit Legal Sea Food, I particularly like the service at the Legal Sea Food in this location. I wouldn't call the stores or their pricing "cheap" but bargains can be found if you search

• Pros: Legal Sea Food
• Cons: Can get crowded in summer

The Backbay Shops are Great!

The Prudential shops are known for its high priced merchandise, but the Backbay shops downstairs (1st floor) have a great variety of inexpensive items to choose from. I bought a nice leather jacket for only $99.99 from Chealsea Thomson's leather boutique. They even have jackets that cost $69.99! The quality is good, and it costs much less than Wilson's leather jackets. Besides leather jackets there are candle stores, toy stores, etc...

The only con is that the Backbay Holiday sale closes after Christmas.
