This sprawling reservoir and surrounding land is an outstanding urban spot for running, walking, birdwatching, golfing and more.

Overview
The reservoir is 165 acres of water, surrounded by 150 acres of land and circled by a 2.5-mile path for running and walking. Get the heart rate racing with a couple of a laps around the pond or a game of tennis, hoops or soccer at Glacken Field. For something less demanding, try a round of golf at the municipal course.

Features
Starting in mid-October and going through mid-December you can expect to see pied-billed grebe, ring-necked duck, greater and lesser scaup, bufflehead, hooded merganser, American coot, American widgeon, Ruddy duck, canvasback and black duck. The common loon has been spotted and green herons breed here.
