Get In Shape For Women Back Bay offers small group personal training for women. One personal trainer works with 1 to 4 women at a time in a
private upscale studio for as little as $19/session.
Each session will consist of 30 minutes of weight training, 25 minutes of cardio, and nutrition coaching, for a complete balanced fitness program that produces amazing results!

Get in Shape for Woman is a great idea.
You get both the nutrition and the exercise. However, this was my worst experience ever at either a gym or a nutritionist. I was humiliated in front of everyone and scolded like a 5 year old child. If you'd like your weight and how much you've gained announced in front of everyone then go to this gym. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
By the way, I've heard other locations of Get in Shape for Women are much much better and actually have supportive environments.
I have had a great experience at GISFW!! I have tried other programs and have never had this kind of success. The combination of the personal training and nutrition guidance has made all the difference in the world. I have lost 30 lbs and over 23 inches since joining GISFW. The entire staff has been fantastic. I couldn't have had this much success without them. Joining was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage everyone struggling with weight loss or just wanting to get in shape to check it out!!!
I read a few bad review for GISFW at other locations, thus I was afraid to sign up. However, I have a friend that did extraordinary well (lost 120lbs in 1 yr) and that encourged me to put my fears aside and decided to see for myself how was the back bay location. I found them to be so great that I knew on the first day (after my workout) that I wanted to sign up. Erica is very friendly and helpful. She showed me around the place and answered all of my questions. The trainers are knowledgeable, fun and they truly listen; they will also give you a kick-a** work out. Anytime that I've had a question it is promptly answered. I've been going there for a month and I have no regrets; I even extended my contract for the full year. Everytime I leave I feel great and I've already started to see results. I recommend that you try it for yourself.

I have been a member of several gyms in Boston and until Get in Shape for Women opened I had not been able to make it to the gym on a regular basis. GISFW is different because it is a program NOT a gym! You are held accountable to being on time to your workout, being prepared to give 100% and focusing on nutrition.
From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed by the staff and fellow members! The program was explained to me as I was shown around and met the women that were working out. After my first workout, we scheduled a nutritional session where the staff worked with me to find ways that I could incorporate healthy eating habits into my very chaotic schedule.
Another challenge I faced was previous injuries so I was concerned about some of the exercises. The staff discussed those injuries with me and have modified my workouts to account for them.
I have recommended GISFW to all of my friends and I really cannot say enough about the program! If you are committed to a healthy lifestyle, GISFW is the place for you! And you can't beat this Back Bay location and the wonderful staff!
I have enjoyed being a member of Get in Shape for Women. I have lost over 20 pounds and feel encouraged with the help of the trainers. The weekly weigh in helps me stay focused on my nutrition too.
