This is one of my favorite places in the area for honest, inexpensive food. It is a deli with rotating cafeteria-style specials. The sandwiches and salads are all good and well-prepared, and they have a crack-like house Greek dressing that's good on pretty much everything. However, what sets Jim's apart are the specials. Everything is homemade and excellent. Among the mains, the steak tips, the roast beef, the meatloaf, the spanakopita, and the chicken pie are notably good. The mac and cheese--especially when they serve buffalo chicken mac or taco mac--is always an excellent choice as a side. The rotating homemade soups are also very satisfying. Another thing that sets Jim's apart is the friendliness/enthusiasm of the servers as well as their flexibility. The menu is very customizable.
