I eat here at the Summer Shack often
and I think it’s one of those restaurants that does everything really well. I like the atmosphere here. Everyone is nice and fun to talk to. They really make you feel comfortable and enjoying.

This place is not fancy - simple tables
that are close to each other, interior is alright, but food is good, lots of varieties, oysters are fresh and good selection.

It was a Monday and very quiet. A
friendly, engaging bartender. The food was good. The oysters were fresh. All in all not a bade take at all. I enjoyed it.

I ordered the â??Shack Bourrideâ??, a seafood stew with mussels, clams, squid, fish and lobster. The food itself tasted very good. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals as well

Great home made seafood at fair prices
with a wonderful selection of specials you can't go wrong here! I never send a client to a location I myself have not dinned at or had a bad experience at but The Summer Shack is neither. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the food is amazing and the deserts taste like they must have their own private pastery chef. From Appetizer to Desert Summer Shack is always a great place. Prices may be a tad on the high side but the price is well worth the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. When I have clients asking for a good easy to get to Sea Food Restaurant Summer Shack Hingham will be the first words from my lips.

We ate at the Summer Shack bar twice
while visiting the Mohegan Sun, the first time about an hour before closing. The food was outstanding and the service was very attentive. Our seafood standards were high having just spent several days on Cape Cod. The Summer Shack rose to the challenge, surpassing our expectations and inspiring us to buy one of Jasper Whiteâ??s cookbooks.

Yummy breads.
Have always wanted to eat at Summer Shack at Mohegan Sun...but found ourselves hungry in Hingham Friday night, so decided to stop in...without reading the reviews. The lack of a wait should have been a warning.
I should note, that the dinner was actually very good. And the bread basket contained tasty, warm breads. The sea bass special was really wonderful. Great smoky flavor, and a nice sauce. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were fabulous, too.
My Cobb salad had nice toppings, and looked nice...

Happy hour.
Happy hour is 4:30 - 6:30, M-F bar side only. All menus items are $4. each, and there is a good selection. Pick two items (they are not skimping on portions), add a beer, or glass of wine, tax and tip and you're at about $16. Really good for an early dinner, then catch a 7pm movie.

Nice atmosphere.
Nice atmosphere, big tables, good music, big bar, nice bathroom. Service was rugged at best. Menu straight forward. All seafood tasted fresh and was well prepared. Clam chowder just average.
