I got eyelid surgery there - by Dr. Townsend - and the results are appalling. I was told they would cut in the crevice of my eye and the scar wouldn't be visible. NOT!!! I have a good sized scar above my eye - where it can easily be seen because he cut in the wrong place. I am often aware of the extra skin created above my eye and notice it when I open and close my eye. He was very late for the appointment and did the job in a BIG HURRY. Don't go near this guy!!!

Huge Fan. This was my first time at a medical spa and I was pleasantly suprised at how warm and welcoming the enviornment was. The Nurse was fantastic walking me though the entire procedure and now two weeks in, I'm thrilled with the results! I look and feel healthier and younger. I have recommended it to all my friends!

Clean, expensive, and unfriendly but worse ineffective. Skin Health is clean and nicely decorated and they do carry some very good but over priced skin products (creams and such). The staff has attitude and are typically unfriendly and they don't really listen to what you had asked for. I wasn't expecting miracles but I expected that the whole area I had went in for to be treated. Let's say I went in expecting treatment for my whole leg and got just one pinky treated instead.

This Place Rocks. All I can say is this place is top notch! I have had numerous treatments here and everytime I left I left with the feeling that the money I spend was well spent. Dr. Townsend is the Best! His technicians are so professional and always willing to help. It is a true Spa feeling, however you leave feeling that whatever treatment you rec was medical grade. I would never go anywhere else. I LOVE this place!

Try it out, I know you won't be disappointed!

I LOVE this place!. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The staff is so welcoming and warm and the decor is beautiful, but comfortable. On my first visit I had microdermabrasion. My aesthetician was gentle and professional, and my skin was so soft. I had gone somewhere else for micro and it hurt and left me red, but at SkinHealth it was a great experience.

On my second visit I had a a laser treatment to get rid of broken capillaries and a couple of brown spots on my face. It didn't hurt at all and my skin looks flawless.

I LOVE this place!!!!!

save your money...be careful...they do not back up their services. I spent $1000.00 on a treatment to remove brown spots from my face and hands from sun damage. There were little/no results. I pointed out the lack of results at each of my four treatments.

I called several times to speak to the owner, she finally agreed to have me come in for another treatment. Snooty technician blamed me for the lack of results. Treatment is a rip off

Out $1000.00 and no result. Be careful

spa week. I was a first time client at Skinhealth Centers for a promotion they did for spa week. My friend has been a client of their's and raved about her esthetician, lyndsy. She goes for hair removal and facials and is extremely happy with her results, so I thought I would give it a try. When I called the receptionist was extremely friendly and accomadating. I asked questions, and she had no problem answering all of them. And when I asked for Lyndsy, she said it wouldn't be a problem. When I got there, it was a little chaotic, but everyone was super friendly and nice. My microdermabrasion was awesome. My skin felt clean, looked great, and was absolutely glowing. Lyndsy answered all of my questions, made recommendations without pushing, and made me feel absolutely comfortable and relaxed. She had a great energy about her and you could tell, she really loved her job. She was very knowledgeable, which made me feel more at ease. I would definitely reccomend her over other estheticians I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot). I can not rave about my experience enough. Now that I know what their services are like, and the experience the estheticians have, I'm more interested the other things they offer. Spa week or not, I'm definitely going back!

Great results. I went to this spa to get a facial for the first time and I had a wonderful experience. The esthetician really worked with me on what I was trying to accomplish. I loved the way my skin looked when the facial was finished. I felt very welcome by the receptionist and very comfortable in the whole atmosphere. The girls who worked there really seemed to know what they were doing. I would definitely reccomend it and I will be back there again.

Facial-don't waste your money. I know I should have heeded the advice of others on here who said that the facials were no good, but I went anyway. I had a facial there two weeks ago, and I am very dissatisfied. I was told to come there at 3:45, which I did. When I arrived, they said they had booked me at 4:00, but said that I would start before then. That was wrong as I had to wait until 4:20. I had asked about the price of the facial, and they had told me that the standard was $80, but when I got there, she told me that it would be $100. I thought there would be something extra, but in the end, it just seemed like a standard facial, I don't know what cost the extra $100 (although there was an upper arm/chest massage, which left me freezing, I don't know if that was the extra $20.

In the end, I felt like I had spent $100 on nothing because not only did my skin not look any better, it actually got worse. I had actually asked what they use to remove blackheads/whiteheads, saying that I did not like them using their fingers (is it so hard to train them to use the blackhead remover instrument which I use myself?), but I was told that they use gloves. I was so desperate to get rid of some of my blackheads that I decided to go for it. Now, my most annoying blackheads are still there, and I have a huge blemish on my cheek, which has taken about a week to die down. Honestly, if the facial had been $50 or less, maybe I would not be writing this review, but for the price that I paid, I felt I had to write and complain. Please don't waste your hard earned money!

Best Botox and facial I ever experienced!!. From the moment I walked in to the Newbury St. location I was treated like royalty. They have a front desk concierge who attended to my every need. The salon decor is beautiful and serene. Dr. Townsend is one of the best doctors in the business for injectibles. If you want the best go to Skin Health where you will only get a DOCTOR for your appt.! My facial was so relaxing and my skin glowed for days after my treatment. The estheticians are professional and not hard sell like alot of other places I have been to. I would highly reccomend Skin Health and I can't wait to go back!
