If you need layers that "do something". Deneen is the stylist of the year as far as I am concerned. It took me a good while to find somebody in the Boston area who knows how to cut hair well enough that it looks great even when you have no time to take care of it. I've gotten nothing but consistently great, stylish haircuts from her over the last couple of years. She is excellent at listening and figuring out how to adjust a haircut here and there to make it look right on you. Just the right touch of "cool" without going over the top.

Definitely a keeper!

Finally, best color ever, on this curly, thick, gray hair. After 20 years, I've finally found my dream hair person. My color is the best ever. And the keratin treatments, a dream. I've got the curliest, biggest, thickest, most damaged, and most gray, hair of any person I know, and Deneen knew how to handle it. She knows all the right questions to ask. And she waits to really understand your answers, so that the right approach is achieved. She's like a Hair Scientist crossed with Rembrandt and Renoir. Also, I love the Boston Channel location where Deneen works at the James Patrick Salon. It's so much more convenient than Newbury Street and much more aesthetically pleasing; and really the best part: the parking is free and easy.
