The younger, hipper sibling to Boston’s Petit Robert Bistro, Jacky's Table serves unfussy French food in a space adorned by modern flourishes--like recessed lights and deep red banquettes. In the bar, a bartender might whistle as he pulls pints of beer, while the game unfurls on the HDTVs. In the dining room, cheerful yellow walls and large mirrors evoke a cozy Parisian eatery as couples share wine and soft, warm bread. From escargot to beef cheeks Bourguignon to gratin Dauphinois, the food’s French accent is authentic. Psst: The frites are addictive--warm, crisp and lightly seasoned.
