Puppy Love. While nearby cafes may serve a cheaper cup of joe, I was drawn to Wired Puppy because it offers the holy grail of cafe-dwellers: seating and wifi. So maybe coffee quality is tangential to this review, but I loved the contemporary interior, with its molded stools, exposed brick, and luxe cream & sugar station. There's even a public computer if you want to check your email between chapters of Dostoevsky, but forgot to bring your laptop. Don't forget to grab a generous pastry sample (major muffin points there) while you soak in the free wifi and ample outlets in the backroom. I just hope this place doesn't become a madhouse and other cafe-dwellers steal my spot... but until then, I love you, Wired Puppy.

Citysearch Editorial Review. This unassuming coffee shop, which quietly boasts house-roasted beans and freshly baked goods, distinguishes itself from the legions of barista-burning corporate cafes with fetching indie appeal. Wired Puppy stocks a glass case with oversized muffins in flavors from blueberry to double chocolate and Portuguese bolos (akin to ginormous English muffins), boasts a menu written neatly in chalk and promises free internet—so tote your laptop and get wired, literally. Satisfy your fair-trade cravings with a variety of coffee and espresso drinks from specialty beans. Within the cafe, exposed brick archways line a hallway that leads into a seating area (fortified with computers available for free use by patrons) and plenty of space in which to settle.
