Ginger Park’s conceptual redesign of the former banQ space allows the bar to flow through to the dining area. The undulating blonde wood decor that transforms this old Penny Savings Bank into an enchanted forest is further accented by the open-plan design. Executive chef Patricia Yeo, author of “Cooking from A to Z” with plenty of haute New York City kitchens under her belt, elevates familiar Chinese and Asian snacks into mix-and-match plates. Don’t miss the tangy Thai green papaya and mango salad in lemongrass dressing and rich, succulent cocoa and peanut glazed spareribs; entrees include a soy-ginger steamed fish with Chinese sausage and shiitake mushrooms.
