Good find. Cheap rooms in a great location. No frills.. Location and price are the thing here. The rooms are ok. They're clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but it's cheap! The amazing thing is the location. We don't visit a city to sit in the hotel anyway! The font desk person recommended a walk down Tremont Street to explore great dinner spots, and now I recommend it too! There are tons of awesome places to eat. Sibling Rivalry was the most memorable - a really delicious dinner - but Beehive was also good. Tons of places to try within a 10 minute walk. There's also a subway station right around the corner. Boston's subway was easy to navigate, but we walked almost everywhere. My wife loved the brownstone buildings and shopping on Newbury Street. I loved a walk we took through the public garden and Boston Common up into Beacon Hill. Boston was a fun city to visit. Hope to make it back there soon!

Great find - cheap hotel in downtown Boston. This place is in a really great location. I couldn't believe how cheap the rates were to be in such a great spot. Close walking to eating, shopping, subways, etc. The rooms are small, but they are nice and clean. For the price, this place is pretty awesome.

Worst Hotel in all of boston. They are truly the worst people to stay with. I was completely upset with my stay. The hotel over charged me, told me that I could not have another room, even though not all my guests could not stay in the room. The room only had a twin and full size bed, and I had four people with us. We called and they did nothing. They treated me horribly and did not even care. I just want to let everyone know that it is the worst that I have every been treated. They just want your money and dont care about you or your guest, Stay elsewhere and save yourself the pain and frustration. The manager and district manager (mark) are horrible and they will do nothing but make you think that you did something wrong. The worst hotel in boston

Clean little and happy. We stayed here for a night while visiting Boston on our eastern US honeymoon. We had read some reviews that the rooms were small and spare, we found the place the be lovely! Yes the room was somewhat small (and the shower tight) but it was a very clean modern place and perfect for getting around in Boston. They had flowers (an option when you reserve on their website) and they were beautiful. Very simple and if you are looking for everything to be in one building then this isn't the place for you, but if you want a cool simple place to stay (with good prices) in downtown Boston then this is the place for you!

Guests enjoy modern rooms with high-tech features, including high-speed internet access, and complimentary continental breakfast. With meeting rooms and a fitness center, the hotel provides suitable facilities for business travelers. One of the city's smaller boutique hotels, Hotel 140 contains only 40 rooms.
