Hingham's Small Museum with a Big Heart. This Fire Museum is free and small and takes about an hour to see everything and the volunteers were wonderful. We went to the open house in July 2010 and because the weather was good, the old trucks were outdoors. I learned how firefighting grew in this area and my friend signed on as a member. They tell me that they are open every Wednesday night at 7:30 for drop in visits but I will be bringing my Scout Troop in for a visit and they said I could schedule a different day to do this.
