“Good value!”
Truly Not Your Average Joe's Kind of Food - well worth a visit!. We found the Needham restaurant in late February/early March and have been there probably 10 times since then. The food is always terrific, nice wait staff, and the manager Steve is terrific. Very, very busy at night - definitely make reservations if you can. People will pound on the door at 11:30 on Sunday to get in for the noon-time opening! It's rare that this restaurant is family-friendly AND also a great place to hang with friends and have a few drinks and appetizers. Everybody 'fits' at this place! Keep up the good work.
Great food and service. Went there for diner - great food, excellent service. Good menu selection. Try fried calamari for an appetizer - they are very nice.
Easy. Easy to get to. Easy parking. Great food. Kid friendly and a great martini. What more could you ask for? Beats going to the city and overpaying anytime.
Best in Needham.
The waitress we had was amazing; quite friendly and she fixed a mistake of the menu/kitchen without me even asking. Atmosphere in enjoyable, too.
I love their bread and dipping oil. The dish I got here was ok, but I've had other items from their menu in the past at other locations that I really enjoyed.
(Sadly?), this chain restaurant is the best place I've eaten in the Needham area so far.
Good Prices, Great Food. The menu has a wide range of options and each has its own flair. The bread and dipping suace is great and I have always had good service.
With a lengthy menu of dependable comfort food and inventive pizzas, there's nothing average about this popular area chain..
The Scene
Each Joe's location handles a steady flow of hungry families and casual couples tired of national chains' bland cuisine and soulless atmospheres. While most nights bring standing-room crowds, waiting for a table can be avoided by sitting at the bar (the better to sample from a surprisingly varied, yet affordable, wine list). Servers, while kept in constant motion by the hungry masses, manage to keep baskets of spongy focaccia filled.
The Food
While most diners come for the eclectic, stone hearth oven-baked pizzas (shrimp and artichoke, spicy "voodoo" chicken), it's a mistake to ignore the rest of the varied menu. Start with a freshly-made cobb salad; full of grilled chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, and avocado, the heaping plate is large enough for three diners. Entrees consist of casual (savory Black Angus meatloaf) and contemporary (Mediterranean salmon with balsamic tomato-caper relish) options. Mammoth desserts include kid-approved favorites like strawberry shortcake.
Don't waste your money. The food, service and atmosphere stinks. One visit was enough. Overpriced and rushed is all I can say. I can't belive they are still open.
Great Spot!. Great spot to eat!! Imaginative and delicious entrees- friendly service. Good value!! The bread is awesome!!
