Going Gray Gracefully. After years of wanting to end the battle of coloring my hair I went on a search for a salon who would help me in the process. I found a small posting buried on a board somewhere about Helena and followed up with an appointment and I am thrilled with the outcome. The experience wasn't quick or inexpensive, but 4 months later I am still comfortable with the growing out process and actually love my interim color! I spent close to 6 hours in the salon in varying stages of stripping out old color and toning new color, but in the end I came out with a subtle blend of dark and light blondish-gray highlights with no sign of the hard line between my new gray hair and the old darkly-colored hair. And several months later I don't feel the need to do anything but trim the length and let the gray continue to fill in. It has been more painless than I could have ever imagined. Helena was brilliant at finding a way to allow me to feel comfortable with my decision to relax into my 'own' color. I highly recommend her. She is very talented. Be prepared to pay a lot, but for me it was worth every penny and I've already saved as much as I paid by NOT coloring every 3 weeks!…
Premium Salon Experience. I've been a loyal client of Helena and Eli for several years. After spending time and money going to Newbury St. I finally had enough. I looked in to several salons with top reputations and decided to give Ardan a try. Helena's recognition from Boston Magazine for her expertise in color was a big factor in my decision. Four years has gone by, I visit the salon every four weeks, and I've never had anything but excellent color, hair cuts, and manicures. Their products are top notch and do what they say they'll do! The atmosphere is professional and welcoming and the standards Helena and Eli set for themselves and their employees are no less than 'platinum'. I am always welcomed when I arrive and leave feeling great about how I look. I couldn't go anywhere else.…
Quality of Boston. Convenience of Wellesley.. Great experience for color and style. Eli and Helena are highly skilled in their specialties, but it's not all business. They are warm and friendly and made my visit relaxing and refreshing. The location couldn't be more convenient. Wellesley center offers a wide variety of shopping opportunities. I get lots of errands done with my new look!…
Ardan Spa Facial. Got a facial from Sally the other day and it was wonderful! She was thorough and very knowledgeable. She made me feel relaxed and gave me the best facial massage!!! I would highly recommend her.

I saw Jen, she's far and away the sweetest stylist I have come across, not to mention talented and skilled. It's one of the best haircuts I've ever had, it just falls right. I can't explain it any better, it just works. She's a wizard.
