Amazingly kid friendly. My kids and I enjoyed it and my baby niece seemed to really like the waiter

Great. We went with my family. It's also not the restauraunts fault they stared at the baby. It was the customers who did it.I have three kids and we always feel welcome. It is family friendly.

Popular neighborhood bar and grill provides Newton Highlands with a warm, welcoming hangout.. The Scene
A favorite among families and seniors since 1985, O'Hara's has a wait most nights (reservations are not taken); the large, handsome bar is a good spot to pass the time. Many come to take in the bar's exceptional beer selection and above-average appetizers, including tasty, made-to-order pizzas. Many of the friendly waiters are Irish.

The Food
Standard American and Italian dishes are served at reasonable prices. There are sandwiches, soups and salads. The dinner menu features an endless assortment of beef, chicken, seafood and pasta dishes. Chicken pot pie is a customer favorite, as it is served in a freshly baked loaf of bread. Baked stuffed eggplant comes oozing with ricotta cheese and is served with a side of pasta. Swordfish camelio (sauteed with garlic, white wine and vegetables) is okay, but won't make you forget Legal Sea Foods. Simple pies are available for dessert.

Delicous Food - And Oh So Homey!. Just a great place overall, good food, warm atmosphere, friendly servers etc. I'm so glad this restaurant is near my home. The O'Hara's do such a good job.

Kid Friendly...I don't think so.. We chose this resturant to meet up with a friend from out of town and her new baby, because the description said a favorite of families and kid friendly. Well, when we walked in with a baby, all we got were stares, and even worse when she cried. It made us all feel uncomfortable, and left as quickly as we could once our meal was finished. I would recommend this for adult only gatherings.
