good middleeastern food. Nice quiet restaurant. Now the the food is really "greek" middleeastern, as opposed to foods such as couscous.
Quiet Newton Centre restaurant serves authentic Middle Eastern specialties to MetroWest residents..
In Short
While Sabra's interior still appears rooted in the late '70s (it opened in 1978), that doesn't stop a steady stream of suburban families from coming in to feast on the restaurant's award-winning Middle Eastern specialties. A commitment to using fresh ingredients is evident in the orders of creamy hummus, crunchy falafel and stuffed grape leaves that dot most tables. Entrees include savory kibbee, kafta kebabs and lamb curry. Homemade baklava is the central dessert option.
great middle eastern cuisine. Great service, delicious food! Their hommus is just about perfect, as well as every other dish! We were floored by the falafel, grape leaves, kibee, and tabouli, for some examples. Finished up a feast with some amazing baclava and Turkish style coffee. Can't wait to go back.
