possible new client

I was actually referred to Parkway by my bus driver! She said that Dr. Segal was terrible but to go straight to FD
- Pros: I don't know
- Cons: I don't know
Love this vet practice
by crmot at Citysearch
I've been taking my 2 cats to this clinic for at least 8 years and have been VERY happy with their care. Where I had been going previously, there was no bedside manner. At this clinic, they genuinely care about my cats, they fawn over them, and are very responsive to my concerns. I also find the support staff to be very friendly and helpful. They always seem excited to see the cats when I bring them in! I would highly recommend this clinic.
- Pros: great care, friendly staff
- Cons: a bit pricey (but worth it)
Look elsewhere for compassionate care
by dogsville at Citysearch
As a newcomer to the area I thought it was just Boston-attitude that made the staff and vets at this clinic so unfriendly. However, after comparing stories with other folks I have found that there are more concerned vets out there. As another reviewer put it - the bed side manner was non-existant. How can you be a vet and not show compassion??
The place was recommended by a friend and that is why I tried them, but my advice would be to look elsewhere!
- Pros: Parking
- Cons: Lack of empathy by staff, zero friendliness
Best vet I have ever had!
by 1cats at Citysearch
I can't give Sandy Higgins or her office staff enough praise. Sandy is technically the most experienced vet I have ever had. But what really sets her apart is her compassion for me and my dear old Siamese cat. Sandy pulled my cat out of sudden and severe heart failure, kidney stones with urinary obstruction, diabetes and chronic bronchitis. She was always supported me and I trust her judgement completely. I recently had to have my cat put to sleep and I am comforted by the fact everything was done within reason. My cat was given a dignified and humane exit form this world and for that I am truely grateful. Sandy and her staff were always so kind and understanding I will keep her as my vet forever!
- Pros: comassion, reasonably priced, good hours
- Cons: parking
Avoid Parkway Veterinary Hospital at ALL COST!
by billygilmore at Citysearch
Every one there is just money hungry doctors with no bedside manner what-so-ever! My new puppy was falling ill and rather than trying to comfort me they/she was just telling me that they could do whatever ... but he's going to die.
It was as if he wasn't anything but a piece of trash. Their attitude was appauling.
- Pros: Convienient Location
- Cons: Expensive, No bedside manner
