Simply the best. Let me start by reminding all the negative reviewers here that this is not a five star french restaurant. If you want to be greeted at the door by anyone other than a bouncer, don't go to a pub. If you want to get seated right away, go to a place that serves lame food and watered-down drinks. That said, this place is the absolute best! The wings are to die for, the salads always fresh and yummy (and basic - no froo froo salads). The menu changes with the season and there is always something new to try. The waitress is very strict about seating people in order (you really did imagine that someone was seated ahead of you - they probably stopped in an hour earlier and put their name in). The music is so great and you can always see whatever game you want on one of their big TVs. Reminder, this is one waitress in a tiny but very busy pub, she doesn't have time to chat with you about whether you prefer this entree over that, give her your order and let her get back to work. Part of the reason you have to wait so long to sit is that they don't turn and burn the tables. You can sit and digest those wings with another beer for as long as you like while you are chatting with your friends. I wish there were more pubs like this. The place is a timeless gold mine.

BAD SERVICE. So I went here last night. I traveled thirty minutes to get there because I heard about it on the Phanthom Gourmet. The food was ok. There was really nothing diffrent about the boneless buffalo wings then any other place, I could easily go to the Halfway Cafe and get better ones. The spicy honey tenders I will say are the best tenders I have ever had. The sauce was amazing and I absolutley loved them. The blue cheese was also very good, better than most places. But the reason I am giving this place only two stars is because of the service. When we walked in the door no one was there to greet us so we didn't know wheathrt to seat ourselves or not. We decided to seat ourselves and out waitress seemed pretty nice, awkward in the beginning by just kind of standing there and not asking us what we wanted so I just had to assume she wanted our drink order. The beers where never replaced fast and I went ten minutes without one even after the busser picked up my cup. We where never asked how our food was. When she finally did approach our table it was to tell us that if we wernt going to eat any more it was an hour wait for the table. Now I've been a waitress for almost six years, you never tell a table that they have to go because of the wait especially since we had ordererd apps and where still buying and drinking. We had only been there for about forty minutes. This was labled a pub a bar, that's what iris. If a paying customer is there you can never tell them they have to go. I couldn't believe it! It ruined a great night out that my boyfriend and I where having. I will never retuurn go there again for sit down dinner. Maybe for takeout for the spicy honey tenders but that's about it!!

Left Wanting After The Never Ending Wait. Let me preface this by stating that I am not one to complain about mediocre to bad service. I just won't complain. I can understand if an order is incorrectly placed, if food takes a little longer than normal to come to the table, or if food is a little overcooked. These are non-issues to me.

That being said, I've been to this place 6 times. I live in the neighborhood and when sitting at work on a Friday after a long week of work nothing sounds better than beer and wings at the local pub. You arrive and give your name to the lone waitress who explains with a smile that it should be about 40 minutes. So you cozy up to the bar for a beer. About 30 minutes later your mouth begins watering at the thought of their delicious wings, just knowing that you'll be sitting down shortly to enjoy them. So you look up and see that the couple that came in immediately in front of you has been seated. It should be any minute now. Then you look up and see the waitress seating a group that you are pretty sure came in after you, but that wouldn't make sense. So you nod this off. Then after more time goes by you realize that more parties that came in well after you are being seated in front of you. So you politely ask the waitress (only to remind her that you are still there), where you stand in the queue. Though visibly agitated at your nerve to remind, she says "any minute now." You'll find yourself standing there as people that came in 45 minutes after you are sitting comfortably in their booths eating.

I wish this were a random phenomenon as I've tried hard to love this place. I've been here 6 times. This has occurred 4 times. The first night we waited 2 hours with a party of 4 until it seemed as though they had no option but to seat us. I thought it was waitress specific, but it's not.

Despite the above average wings and friendly bartender, I wouldn't recommend this local dive to anyone until they do something about the waitstaff.
