Excellent experience. i have a volvo that was hit in the left front by another car & damaged badly enough it had to be towed. village collision was recommended by my dealer, boston volvo. they were on the approved list for my insurance company, commerce. i also had some rear damage from somebody who hit me in a parking lot. they did an excellent job of repairing all the damage & working with insurance company as they found more and more damage. no extra charges that i could see. fair price for the damage for which i paid. i would go there again & recommend them to my friends.

Not Honest. Adding cost. Be careful. Make sure ahead of time before leaving your car there that they will not charge you for trashing the waste and variety of other charges. They are just trying to make money above and beyond what the insurance are paying.

I used to work with the previous who sold this business to these new owners and things change. Since then I am avoiding bringing my car to them.

100% fixed, 100% satisfied.. Just got my car back -- about $6k of work, great job, all OEM parts, no insurance company hassles, no extra charges. 100% fixed, 100% covered by insurance.

Talk to the people there, make sure you understand the 3-way discussion that happens between customer, insurance company, and body shop whenever there are more than a few bucks involved. That way, no surprises.

I did see the previous review and asked the Village people about it directly. We talked and I decided to get my car fixed there and have no regrets.

Hope I don't have to be there again, but if my car gets crunched again by an oblivious left turner or whatever, I know where to get it fixed.

Below average work for above average costs. Beware of this shop's latest SCAM!

If you live in or near Brookline, avoid this shop at all costs. The exact same scam was pulled on myself and a good friend of mine.

They have a posted labor rate of 45.00 and had us sign something that states they will "concede" to 40.00 and it is apparently up to our insurance company to "concede" to pay the difference in the estimated repair costs. I was told by another colleague that they knew of several other people scammed by Village Collision when I mentioned that I was told by my insurance company that they do not negotiate their 35.00 labor rate. I was then charged 480.00 plus my 500.00 deductible by Village Collision.

Avoid these people at all costs!!
