Editorial Review for Coolidge Corner Clubhouse – by Citysearch Staff

In Short
Colorful sports photos, cartoons and posters provide the ambience of a jock dorm room. Tiny tables fill the cramped room, making for a tight game-watching experience. Fortunately, there are about 20 strategically-places screens that show any and every game. Most menu items are named after famous figures. The "Roger Clemens" is a grilled chicken sandwich with broccoli, honey mustard and melted cheese, while the "Wade Boggs" salad is topped with a grilled teriyaki chicken breast.

Everytime Ive gone into the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, Ive been greeted with enthusiasm. From the friendly and accomodating barstaff, energetic servers, and often humorous chefs that can frequently be found engaged by the bar. This bar is extremely welcoming, and one gets the sense that the people who work here generally enjoy their jobs. Its a real treat. If you are looking for a riotous good time on any night of the week, I highly suggest this place. You will find well prepared comfort food at reasonable prices, and hands down the best lobster roll in town! (which I think is only served during baseball season). The 21 flat screen tvs allow you to watch your favorite games with constant dialogue. Come for sports, or just to relax, you will not be disappointed.

Pros: Service, Selection, Price

Cons: Bathrooms too small

30 plus taps, 26 flatscreen tvs (yes, I counted), and plenty of good bar food. The burgers, I think are one of the best in Boston - 10 oz., and everything else on the menu is plenty filling and fresh as well. It'll be great for March Madness, they get all the sports packages, and baseball season is right around the"corner."
