Be warned: Although you may enter Wild Goose Chase with the best intentions of purchasing a gift for cousin Timmy, it's hard to leave this whimsical and colorful place without picking up a few presents for yourself. It may take you hours to explore every inch of this large gift store, but it will be worth it. It's been a favorite among Brookline residents since 1976.

The Goods
With more than 20,000 items in stock, it's hard to imagine a gift Wild Goose Chase doesn't carry. Buy a trendy wine rack for a housewarming gift or a pair of baby socks that double as toys for a maternity gift. Prices range from $5 to $5,000, so you will be sure to find something to fit your budget. Artworks by local and foreign artists--including pottery, sculpture and velvet designs--are displayed throughout the store.
