In Short – A favorite of area chefs, Clear Flour garners loads of awards for its hand-shaped breads, many of which are served in top Boston restaurants. Gourmands come from far and wide to buy loaves of authentic French and Italian varieties. The bakery's morning buns, brioches, cakes (pear-ginger coffee cake) and cookies (orange shortbread) also impress. With daily specials ("sunshine" focaccia on Saturdays, fire roasted tomato rustic rolls on Thursdays), patrons always have something new to try.

i hate to say it because the lines are already long enough but this is a good place to know about if you live in the boston-cambridge area. happily i don't live far. the morning buns and croissants are special as many of the deserts and of course the breads. don't believe me please. its already popular enough especially on weekends.

- Cons: location
This is a great place to indulge your taste buds
by lesliestrng
This place is on a small side street and it is very hard to park by the store front. But when you walk in the door you are over come by such sweet smells that you wouldn't mind getting a parking ticket for double parking. They have the best sticky buns ever. Thanks for keeping my taste buds happy and my belly full of great treats and breads! I love coming on different days and finding new things to try!
- Pros: Fresh, yummy, variety.
- Cons: Carbohydrate Palace!
The best bread in Boston

It's difficult to find, but the rewards are outstanding. Try the chocolat croissants and the brioche, not to mention the Italian country bread, ymmm. The line is out the door on weekends.
