You won't find a better, classic slice or sicilian anywhere. I went to Newbury College in 1991 and always went to Presto Pizza down the hill from my old school in Cleveland Circle. Going with all my old college friends was great. Presto Pizza always had great sicilian and the best slices anywhere in the Boston area. Really anywhere in the country. You won't find a better, classic slice or sicilian anywhere. I have been going to Presto Pizza periodically since 1991 freelancing for NESN doing camera at Fenway for Sox games. Presto will always be my favorite pizzeria. I can't wait to bring my wife and son this year before going to Fenway to see the Sox. The staff was great in 1991 when I was a college kid. Times change unfortunately.

Roasted Red Pepper Pizza!. Just like Pino's I have been going to this place since 5th grade and it has never disappointed me.

I have only had something besides pizza pribably like 5 times in about 13 years of going there but that is all I need. They offer a wide variety of different toppings in slices which is somewhat rare to find as well. My favorite is the roasted red pepper pizza. Oh my frickin God, so good! The slices are also bigger than Pino's which sometimes can be the deciding factor on which place I go. If I am more hungry and in the mood for pizza, then Presto's it is.

Now the one thing that really bugs me about this place is the service. Like I said, I have been going to this place for like 13 years and you think by now the guys know me by face (like at Pino's). Yet still to this day there are some guys who work there who are just straight up rude. Like I have been tempted to call them jerks to their face but I don't want to be denied their great pizza. I just don't get it. If you are dissatisfied with your job then don't do it. Just don't take it out on me or anyone else. Small places like that need customer loyalty and when you are rude it deters people from going there.

But, this should be about pizza right? It's great pizza. I'm done.

good pizza, the staff- not so much.... yea, the pizza here is pretty good, although it's nothing fancy like bertucci's.

the staff here is a bit awkward and stiff though. also, there is no elegance to the restaurant.

pinos doest hold a candle to prestos. trust me people, pinos doesn't hold a candle to prestos. best slice west of boston, no doubt. delicious pizza- if you'reooking for 5 star service head to the north end.

Excellent pizza. Here is the short story: Great standard slices, exceptional Grandma style tomato basil and garlic, it only gets 4 stars because the guys who work there are kind of awful. High: The best pizza outside of Boston proper for good prices. Low: Employees treat EVERYONE like a drunk BC student. You can discern what you like from that.

Editorial Review. Cleveland Circle pizza joint, with its inexpensive pies and filling pasta dishes, is a favorite of B.C. students.

Best Pizza in town. I lived in Boston for over two years and couldn't find a good slice of pizza until I discovered Presto. They make by far the best pizza in town. If you're not in the mood for a slice I'd also recommend the chicken parm sub, it will never let you down. So next time you are in the Brighton/Brookline area, stop in and pickup a slice, you won't regret it.

Best slice of Cheese Pizza in the city. I honestly cannot find a better slice of cheese pizza in Boston. No where. I've tried almost every other favorite and although Presto does not make my favorite pie of pizza, by the slice of Cheese, it's as close to perfection in a slice as they come. Crispy. Gooey. Nicely seasoned cheese. Amazing soft yet crispy crust. Fresh tasting cheese that's not burnt.
