Rude, Disrespectful Owners....Pizza is not worth the service. I can't understand why this dump is still in business???? The owners are downright rude and disrespectful. Every time they say 30 minutes for pickup just pretend they said 1 hour. Maybe they should know how long after so many years in business.

If your looking for horrible, rude and disrespectful service and greasy sloppy pizza....this is your place. Don't even bother with anything else on the menu, they won't make it anyway. if they get too busy they only make pizza.

PS the owners are the worst never mind any hired staff.

GO SOMEWHERE ELES..DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. We have ordered several times from Venus CAfe and mostly it was ok...Tonight ordered 4 pizza, one came home burnt, and hard. We call the cafe to explain the matter. They all but jumped thru the phone to bite me, My husband returned the pizza and the MANAGER on duty was screaming at him telling him nother was wrong with the orginal pizza..He finally replace the pizza, with the grumpiest face ever...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE......WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE CAFE..I WILL ALSO SPREAD THE WORD....

Are You Kidding Me. I call to order dinner for my family and the girl on the phone tells me "oh we are not doing wraps and salads tonight...only pizza." Seriously...what flippen cafe says that on a Friday night...or ever for that reason...Big fat o in sevice if you ask me.... lazy....hhmm wonder if the boss knows....I only put one star..because they wont let me put none!

Best pizza in town!!!. Outstanding pizza, service, and salads!!! Their greek salad is oustanding, and the shrimp and garlic pizza is my favorite!!! Service is always fast and friendly!!

Best Pizza Around. The Venus Cafe has the best bar style, thin crust pizza around. Actually, they won best pizza in the Whitman area last year. I moved out of the Whitman area, so I am unable to get to the Venus as often as my family and I would like, but every time we're near Whitman we go to the Venus where we are welcomed by the owners and the waitstaff. I can feed my family of 4 with 3 pizzas and 2 of their awesome greek salads for about $25.00. The cocktails and beer are very reasonable. But my kids enjoy the games and buying their own soda out of the soda machine by takeout.

Atmosphere and Wait staff are Nasty, food is OK. I have been here several times. I can confidently say the food is descent and fairly priced. HOWEVER the place looks rather dumpy. The bathrooms are virtually located in the middle of the dinning area. The wait staff is miserable and very very unpleasing to the eyes. I highly suggest not to bring anyone who is ethnically diversed. Unless they want to be treated poorly and starred at by some of the ignorant wait staff and some customers. Very very small townie place that is soo oldschool that you feel like you are back in the 60's. I keep wanting to give this place another try cause their pizza is good but its just not worth it. Spend the few extra $$ and go to Town Spa in Stoughton or Christo's up the street in Brockton.

Horrible. Christos Pizza in Brokcton is by far superb as well as their greek salads and drinks!! If you want real bar room pizza I would recommend every one to try Christo's pizza, and you would never go back to Venus Cafe! When you go to venus cafe you are met by miserable people who ar eworking the bar, except for one exceptional women, im not quite sure of her name, every one else will treat you with bad service, and if you have a complaint it is a family run business, so therefore the customer is always wrong!

The very best Pizza , I have ever tried considering I came from Boston.... My mom always told me about the Venus Cafe, she says it's the best and her long time friend owns it. After her passing ,I tried it and you were right. Great Job to the owners Eliane ,and John...My mother was right....Adam

Excellent. This is the best pizza ever. We live in VT and when we visit our relatives we have to make sure to get plenty of this delicious pizza and sometimes we even bring pizzas home to all our other relatives in VT.

Nothing Else Like it. Since leaving whitman and moving to arizona when I was 11 years old I have had cravings for a real bar room pizza. Everytime I go back I stop into the Venus Cafe and enjoy the smell as well as the low roof not just because it reminds me of my child hood the pizza is amazing (Greek Pizza) a nice greasy small pizza for under $5.00 you can't beat it. I recommend the pizza here more than anywhere in the world..
