Best Facial. Went today for a facial and seriously it was one of the most relaxed most enjoyable facials I ever had. I am also 8 months pregnant so the girl givng me the facial was very helpful when I was uncomfortble laying down. Such a nice place in there too.

Best South Shore Salon, Without a Doubt. Makeovers is the best, and that's just that. Everything they do, they do well. It's a comfortable and friendly atmostphere. My husband and I went there for years, and then moved to New York City. We couldn't find a New York stylist that came even close to being as good as our stylist at Makeovers. When we moved back to Massachusetts a year ago, we had to make sure we were within driving distance of Makeovers because I just won't go anywhere else! The only con is that our stylist is so good, sometimes it's hard to get an appointment as quickly as you want it. But if that's the only con, I'll take it because it's worth the wait.

Best salon and day spa i have ever been to. I have been going to Makeovers for years now and I refuse to go anywhere else. I've had just about every stylist there do my hair (highlight, dye, or cut) at least once and I have nothing but good things to say about everyone. I tell them what I think I want to do with my hair and they do it EXACTLY the way I had in mind! Everytime they finish I can't believe how great my hair looks and feels. I moved to south Florida last July and I've actually flown home to get my hair done...and visit my family of course. But I haven't even bothered looking for a hair salon down there. Makeovers is a beautiful place with very friendly and accomodating stylists, I highly recommend them!

A wonderful salon in a gorgeous new space!. I thought Makeovers couldn't get any better - and they did! You should see the gorgeous new facility! Three times as big as it used to be, more wonderful people working there and more world class services. The fountain and cafe area are beautiful, the treatment rooms inspiring, the new equipment not to be believed. I love going there, and hate to leave! Ed Blum and his staff have done it again! Don't miss!

Warning-Ruined Hair. I went here to have my highlighted blonde hair colored a natural, subtle red. I specified natural and pointed out exactly what I did not like. The stylist ignored my wishes completely and dyed my hair a hideous and very fake looking burgandy red. It is so tacky and ridiculous-I look like strawberry shortcake. I will never, ever step foot in this place again. It was by far the worst hair experience I have ever had and I have been coloring my hair for 16 years.

best of the best. I have been going to Makeovers for some time now, and cannot say enough about the place. The staff is so accomodating, the surroundings most pleasant, the value and quality of the services are without equal. You will love each and every visit.

Three cheers for Makeovers!. Makeovers is not only a fabulous salon/spa with talented colorist, hair stylists, etc., but it is a place to go to feel pampered. Ed Blum, owner of the salon, and his staff, make sure each and every client are well taken care of. Add to that the fact Ed and his staff are top notch at what they do, and you can't find a better place to go! Three cheers for Makeovers!

fabulous relaxing experience!. I think that i have found a new home! The staff was warm, talented and friendly. I love my hair, facial and massage. I have been everywhere and caannot say enough about this beautifull place and the poeple that worked on me. I left buying several gifts for friends and plan to return often! I would give everything a ten!

My favorite a Spa Experience!. I have to say that this was one of the best experiences i have had in a salon or day spa. Most of the time you walk in and people are so focused on makeing these places so upscale that they loose the intimate touch and the warmth. I loved working with all the hair personnel and they made me feel like it really was all about me. I felt like i found a safe corner on the planet that i could go to have great conversation, and come out feeling beautifull and special. I would highly reccomend this salon for anyone who wants a beautifull Makeover and needs a kind ear to listen. Oh and the place was decorated so beautifully for the holidays that i wanted to bring everything home.
