Great food, great fun, great time!.
I am a somewhat regular at the Orchid. The first time I went after many years, I was a little nervous. But the service and friendly atmosphere there are wonderful, and made me feel right at home. The bartending staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. The waitstaff is just as friendly and skilled.
Walking into the Orchid is like being welcomed into a friend's house, even if you have never been there. Lakeville is a small town, and the Orchid has incredible food, drinks, and value, without losing the small time feeling of Lakeville.
Food is hot, plentiful, and delicious. It is well presented and delicious. The drinks are well mixed and well priced. The service is excellent. While they are busy, and mistakes are bound to happen in any busy restaurant, I have never had anything more than a very minor error in any of my orders, which was quickly sorted out, and has been sorted out with professionalism and courtesy.
The Orchid of Hawaii is one of my two favorite restaurants EVER.

Horrible Customer Service!!!!. Last night my family ordered $53.00 worth of food from the Orchid of Hawaii. When my brother brought the food back home we noticed the beef teriyaki was missing. My brother called the Orchid back and informed them that we were missing one of the items and they hung up on him. When I called back and spoke to the manager he said "my employee said she put the beef teriyaki in the back, I have to trust my employee" and refused to provide us with the order we paid for. I understand that the restaurant has to protect itself from people that tell lies and steal but I am neither and should have been treated with respect. What ever happened to the customer is always right?
