HMS VAN LINES DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON OUR LARGE AND DIFFICULT LAB MOVE AND HOME MOVES!

We are a group of 16 Neurotic and nit picky scientists. LOL

HMS was the company awarded the move of our Lab from BC to Texas A&M. Keith Orlandelo was the guy who performed the walk through and also supervised the actual move of our chemicals and our high value Olympus microscopes. He was extremely responsive and made a scary situation manageable. There are 16 of us packed into a 3,000 square foot lab space, so needless to say there was a lot going on. Keith helped us to pack a $75,000 photo-spectrometer and also moved several incubators and even managed to pack and ship all of our buffers and chemicals. All items arrived in Texas perfectly.

HMS Van Lines in partnership with North American Van Lines also moved 16 of us down to Texas from as far as the cape up to Salem, MA. (most of us are in Cambridge and Brighton!) Granted, the moves were small in size, but they handled each one of our moves perfectly. The movers were polite and worked very hard. They marked all of our items down on an inventory sheet and also wrapped every item. It was remarkable how well they seemed to work with each other and how much they appeared to care for our stuff. Again, all items on time and pretty much issue free.

We had an excellent move with HMS and North American.

It seemed as though there were a few very good choices for moving companies in Boston and even beyond as far as southern New Hampshire. We had three companies come out to look and we just felt more comfortable with Keith at HMS. The service was great. Our pricing was guaranteed so we knew that we would pay that amount or less. The next thing that we loved is that we did not have to pay a huge deposit because we were burned by a company in Florida about 6 years ago that way. The crew was excellent and the driver was even better. The truck arrived right on time and not a scratch on a single item. We were very happy with HMS Van Lines and would use them again if the need arises.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Keith ( The president ) of this local branch is dishonest and deceptive. He gave verbal promises, but did not follow through with them. He employs great customer service before the sale, promising the world, but impossible to reach when there are issues or problems post sale. If you don't have every little item or promise in writing, be prepared to have him deny ever making them when you go to collect. He promises professional, courteous movers. Instead we received a group of questionable, complaining workers who made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I helped them load the truck for hours just to move them along and get them out of my house. Professionalism was non-existent. Keith did not properly insure our load, even though he said it was (which maximizes his profits, but leaves you holding the bill when your valuables break). Save yourself a great deal of heart ache and stress and avoid him and his shady business. Moving is stressful enough. You don't need his underhanded business tactics on top of it. You've been warned.

P.S - Look at many of the so called "positive" reviews. I don't believe they are from actual customers of HMS. Look at how they are worded. They seem to be from the same user under different user names.

Keith the owner of HMS is a liar, thief and an all around scum bag please beware.....I am a former employee hes robbed me not paid whats due to me and im not the first but enough about me...he sends his guys out of state with other employee's driving number forges log books.. they steal they are def not professionals.. and they will promise you the world if they mess up.. and tell you keith will call and that never happens.. keith pays the guys with drugs percs vics whatever hes a real class act.. NORTH AMERICAN VAN LINES H.M.S MAPLE ST STOUGHTON MA ...STAY AWAY keith is about 5'1 bald ugly as fuck has braces and doesnt know how to run shit but his mouth...its all lies please listen allways ask to see the weigh ticket upon delivery

or request to be there for the weighing of the truck before it leaves you could save yourself big money look at the paper work 100% just dont sign anything br thorough

I was very skeptical with all of the bad reviews that all of these movers were getting! My gosh. It seems like even the best companies had someone who didn't have a great experience. We had to pick a mover though. My husband called HMS who turns out to be a North American Van Lines agent, so that was a good start as far as making us feel more comfortable. We have found the bigger companies seemed to be more responsive. Our representatIve, KeIth Orlandella was AMAZING! AMAZING! This guy was so attentive to our needs and questions. It actually felt like we were dealing with an employee who worked for us directly and only. He literally made our move a dream. The crew showed up and were equally excellent. The nicest and most polite guys. Brendan and his crew were professional, worked fast and hard and seemed to really care about our belongings. We had a scratch on one small end table and they had it brought to a repair shop and it was back by the following Monday. To be honest, they probably spent more repairing the table than it was worth, however, they insisted. FANTASTIC Moving experience! -MS

I worked for HMS. Keith, the owner, is a scumbag. He still hasn't paid the money he owes me. He always has his friend or himself writing all the good reviews. Keith holds his customers property, so he can overcharge them. Beware of Keith. He looks like a little bald Chihuahua with braces. Completely stress free moving. HMS Van Lines made our moving experience almost enjoyable. We moved from Providence up to Cambridge. Caitlin or Keith or Alan were always around when we had a question, no matter how insignificant. I worked with everyone of them and they were simply amazing. So nice and accommodating. Our moving team was very understanding of the stress involved. They were careful and moved swiftly. These guys wrapped every square inch of our furniture in these huge moving blankets and they put plastic over our sofas and beds. Even the TV went into a box. We were very happy with this company and the people and the final pricing. If you are looking for a moving company, we recommend HMS.

HIGH CLASS MOVER. Keith Orlandella and his team were high class all of the way. Honestly, I just have to say that I hope that all companies receive this same service from HMS.

Our moving team was so thorough, complete and caring and experienced. They moved my house, my lab, my assistant's apartment and it all went without a hitch!

The truck was brand new-the movers were excellent and the people were very friendly all around. But, it really was more than that for me. I am very anal and I worry a lot. I like things done right. HMS did it right the whole way through. I was totally comfortable from start to finish.

Dedicated Moving Company. Incredible experience.

We Had a difficult move with a lot of stairs and some very large and very, very heavy furniture.

HMS was very easy to deal with and also so friendly and accommodating!

This was about my 5th move with a major company and I can say with ease that HMS puts the competition to literal shame.

We had 2 HUGE movers and a relatively large moving truck. They were in and out in a flash and it was over.

HMS Moving is by far the best I've seen. I was extremely pleased. Although it wasn't my biggest concern, the pricing was decent too. Estimate was exactly on the money.
