great food,and draft beer. George's Cafe has some of the best pizzas and Italian food around. Their drinks are reasonably priced and they have a good selection of beer on tap. The location is a little scary and the restaurant needs more lighting. It's great for lunch or to catch a game but I wouldn't go there too late in the night.

User review by liane22. What they lack in ambience they make up for with food and service! When my parents first took me to George's I was very skeptical of what I had heard about it. It's a local favorite of those who know about it. There's a somewhat cheesey Brockton theme to it, and Keno on televisions! After having eaten there a few times, I have to say, they have a huge menu with great food priced right. The waitress is always very attentive, and the owner is even more so (he came back to our table to make sure our food was perfect more than once!) It's not the most romantic place, but perfect if you just want a good meal away from the house.
