Denied entry for no reason. The way I was treated here today disgusts me. I tried to go in here during the Red Sox game and was denied entry for no reason. I had been in at the beginning of the game to meet a family member, stayed for 5 minutes and left. I returned later in the game hoping to watch an inning or two but when I approached the door I was told that I wasn't permitted in. At first, I thought that the door staff was joking because I couldn't imagine any reason why they wouldn't let me in, but they were serious. The gentleman in charge (who was wearing a black jacket, had a goatee, and is bald) said to me "someone inside said that you can't come back in" in a most unprofessional manner. I am all but certain that he was being dishonest as there would have been no reason for another staff member to tell him that. This was highly insulting to say the least, I politely asked why and he refused to give me any reason. I asked if he felt I was intoxicated (I had drank very little, and wasn't intoxicated) and that was not the case. I asked again what the reason was and he said that he didn't know. I don't know why I was being picked on today but I do know that I had no conflict with any patron or employee of the bar, I was dressed appropriately, and I wasn't even slightly intoxicated. I don't know why I was treated like a second class citizen at Who's on First but it really upset me and it was wrong. As a frequent Red Sox attendee, I have spent a lot of money here over the years
Best Place To Go Near Fenway!. Who's on First is the best place to go to watch a Red Sox game! If you have tickets, their front door doubles as a gate to the park so you can get in without lines. Once the game starts, you can actually come and go from their bar for a cigarette break or a cheap cocktail during the game. This place is a hidden gem. I can't wait for the Red Sox to start up again because Who's on First has become one of my favorite Fenway rituals. The drinks are a lot cheaper there too!
21+. Just wanted to let people know this is a 21+ club now. I was looking into it and gave them a call and they are 21+ every night contrary to the original post of this website.
Collegiate nightclub in the shadow of Fenway Park doubles as a rowdy sports bar..
The Scene
Who's at Who's on First? Perhaps moreso than with any other Boston nightlife establishment, the crowd depends on the time of visit. On Red Sox game days, "Who's" (as locals call it) opens four hours before game time and stays filled with Sox fans throughout the night. On weekend nights, college students come from far and wide for one of the area's most popular club scenes.
The Draw
While sporty types worship the bar's plethora of TVs (especially the 62-incher), and club kids enjoy the booming sound system and meat-market atmosphere, everyone loves the dirt-cheap drink prices (selected drafts run $2). Weekend nights attract one of the youngest crowds in the city--Thursdays and Saturdays are 18-plus--with DJ-supplied dance tunes and low cover charges (usually around $5). Those looking to take a break from all the action can take refuge in the secluded back room and its comfy sofas.
Good 18+ club, Lots of a$$. There are a lot of younger college students here...18+ Thurs and Sat. Good music.
