typical college bar, good trivia. this place has it all: big TVs, cheap food, friendly staff, cool trivia/karaoke. yes, there's a lot of students (it's a BU hangout), but i like it.

Always a great time. If you go to BU, this is THE place to be. T's pub is a guaranteed great night for the 21+ on Thursdays - Kareoke night.

Cheap beers and a wall-sized video screen make this Boston University hangout a popular choice for watching the game.. In Short
Since the early '80s, this unassuming college bar has had a few obvious draws for the student crowd: cheap beer, TVs and video games, all within walking distance from the student ghetto (Allston) and many of the BU dorms. On weekend nights, the large video screen retreats into the ceiling and the DJ starts cranking dance tunes. T's menu contains a plethora of shareable appetizers and straightforward sandwiches.

Horrible Karaoke. I used to be a big fan of the Karaoke nights at T's but the past few that I've been to have been horrible. The MCs don't go in order so you might wait 2:30 (literally) before you get to sing and then they are rude about it. Plus they play songs between the singers so about half as many people get a chance to sing as at other places. People crowd the stage like it's a dance floor and you don't get your chance to be in the spotlight, which is what kraoke is all about.

The prices are average but the beer seems watered-down and the waitresses are bad about getting to the table when it's crowded. Overall, it's become a wretched experience and there are better places to karaoke (like Sissy K's). I won't be there again.

T's Pub -- Always the Place to Meet. T's Pub is Always the Place to meet. Whenever I return to Boston to visit since graduating from Boston University, I know that I can always go into T's Pub and see a familiar face. It's the place where everyone knows your name! And Steve is the BEST!!

excellent ambience, great owner. really one of the two best in terms of nice people working and running the place, but not as fancy in decor or as many good TV seats as Sports Depot or Fours. (BTW, the Quincy Fours is in many ways better than the Boston one.) I just like the unpretentious atmosphere, the very nice staff, and some pretty darn good food. Great fries--I always go for a large, fresh and crispy hot plate of 'em-- and very good prices for the food. For some, the BU crowd on evenings may be a bit too young and exhuberant--this is definitely a hockey/football--and when the Knicks & Celtics have good teams, pro basketball--...this is a great place for taste of NYC (BU) vs Boston rivalry. Far better than the obnoxious BC/ Brookline sports bars... a younger, collegiate version of the Fours or Sports Depot--two deservedly well-rated Boston sports bars.

T's Pub - The Place To Meet. T's Pub is the perfect place to meet people before going to games, or after games. The food is great and not too expensive and the waitresses are pretty hot.

Low-key Local Locale. T's is great for watching the big game, cutting loose at karaoke (Tuesday's and Wednesday's), or just hanging out with friends. The staff are all nice, and it's not too expensive. Word to the wise, though, it's a cash only bar (ATM inside).

The Place to Meet!. T's is definitely "The Place to Meet", as it's the type of bar where all types of people congregate at, and everyone mingles with one another. Even though it's predominantly a sports bar and a BU hangout, the fun, friendly and unpretentious nature of the bar makes it very accommodating for everyone. It's the only bar in Boston where I feel entirely comfortable going to with any/all of my friends. Definitely check out Karaoke Night every Tuesday and Wednesday, and Trivia Night on Thursdays. Also make an effort to get to know Steve, the owner, as he's about as friendly a guy as you'll ever meet!
